Re: Sound not changing/playing when changing nodes

ok thanks.

- I'm building a project right now that has about 40+ different background sounds throughout a 65+ node tour. Looks like I will have to put that aspect of tour on ice until the sound transitioning functionality is working.

Re: Sound not changing/playing when changing nodes

Hopki,

Can you please verify if sound transitions (set via output settings panel) work or not please? Thanks.

Re: Sound not changing/playing when changing nodes

Think I located the issue-

It's the Output->Transitions->Sounds checkbox (when checked) that is causing the problem. Unchecking it plays the sounds for each of the nodes, but if the next node has no sound then the previous node's sound does not stop.

Re: Sound not changing/playing when changing nodes

Using Firefox (Windows 10): sound on the opening pano plays automatically. Clicking to the second pano, it's sound does not play at all. Using Chrome (Windows 10): opening pano sound does not play. Clicking to second pano, it's sound does not play either. Clicking back to the first pano from the sec...

Re: Maps Default Zoom Help

Select your Map element on the left.
Look at the "Properties" panel on the right for that element.
Scroll down to the section called "Map", click on it to expand the map properties. Initial default zoom will be right there.

Sound not changing/playing when changing nodes

P2VR v.6b3 Win10 When changing from one node with background sound to another with background sound, the background sound of the second node does not play. When changing from a node without background sound to another with sound, then the background sound of the new node will play. Note: The sounds ...

Re: Possible to use skin variables in other places like "Hotspot Properties" etc?

oh! it appears that the p2vr project file is just plain XML, so I can just do bulk search & replace on all these spots when/if needed. A little bit of manual intervention but I think this would suffice.

Re: Dell XPS 15 question

FYI- I use a 2016 Dell XPS 15 9550 as my main computer, also use it to drive an external Dell 27" display. Have had no issues with anything 360 pano-wise, which is desireable because it is what I do for a living.

Re: Possible to use skin variables in other places like "Hotspot Properties" etc?

I am making a pano tour of a small town. There are 60+ panoramas. Each building/business has a hotspot that shows a title and poly outline of the building when hovering over the hotspot icon. Clicking on that hotpot icon pops up an overlay (iframe) containing a photo and some text related to the bui...

Re: Possible to use skin variables in other places like "Hotspot Properties" etc?

hmm, well it's not for just a single value. I will have the same hotspot appearing in as many as 5-40 panos in the tour, then multiply that by another 30 or so. Hence why I am poking around to see if there is a more efficient way to handle them all. There will be the hotpot's proper title, an then a...

Re: Possible to use skin variables in other places like "Hotspot Properties" etc?

oh sorry- my P2VR version is v.6b3

Not talking about placeholders, but skin variables- as can be custom defined in the root of the skin editor.

Being able to perhaps even utilize js variables in places like "Hotspot Properties" fields would also be good if possible(?)

Possible to use skin variables in other places like "Hotspot Properties" etc?

Is it possible to use skin variables (global ones) in other sections like the fields in the "Hotspot Properties" panel? EG: A hotspot with the same Title will be appearing in many different panos of my tour. I would like to define that Title only once as a global var in the skin, so I can utilize it...
