Transparent nadir patch!

OK, I'm posting this here as the previous thread has so many large images, I am frightened my post will get lost... OK, after about 200 panos in PANO2VR, today I produced 15 panos, all of them have the issue with the transparent nadir patch. It seems it does not like my dark nadir patch, and when I ...

Re: Patch tool shows "hole" BUG...

OK, after 2 years of using Pano2vr without this problem, today I stitched 15 panos and every one had this problem. The only difference this time was that it was the latest version, but that doesnt even make sense as I did a project last week and stitched 3 tours successfully. Each floor is different...

Re: Loading bar not showing or stopping at 99%

Hi smooth, It is a standalone swf file embedded into an html page. I have a feeling they have done something to the file as it now has a collection of numbers and letters after the original file name, which I believe is a sign of encryption? I was wondering though, as I have heard about a problem in...

Re: Loading bar not showing or stopping at 99%

OK, one last bit from me....

Could using an encryption tool to encrypt the swf cause problems with the loading progress bar? so it doesnt go away on some and doesnt appear at all on others??

Re: Loading bar not showing or stopping at 99%

I guess i should add, the tour works fine on another site, so it is something to do with the website/server that is the problem rather than the flash file i think.

Loading bar not showing or stopping at 99%

I'm sure someone else had this problem on here, but I cant find the post... What could the likely cause be when the loading bar is not showing up, but the tour does load ok? I thought I read somewhere that the SWF file takes it's information for the loading bar from the server somehow, and if it can...

Any ideas for a decent fix to this problem?

OK, I know there must be a god work around for this! I currently have an issue with loading different panos from the skin. The problem I had is that there is often a lag of a few seconds from when you click on a thumbnail image in the skin to when that pano will actually load. Even when you select t...

linking to other panos in the skin...

Up until now I have always specified the folder that my customers must place their swf files into when uploading them onto their website. This is because when I make the skin, i always properly and fully define the URL, e.g. /mytourvirtual/starterfile.swf. In that example, I would ask them to make a...

Is Pano2vr 'slower' than other flash players?

I really do love Pano2vr, so this isn't me having a bash! But over the last 6 months of me using Pano2vr, I can't help but notice it seems to run a little slower / jerkier than other players, esp FPP. FPP seems to handle even big panos really nicely on my slower machines, whereas Pano2vr seems to st...

Re: Easiest way to create offline tours?

I've done it! Strange thing is, it wouldn't let me rename the .exe file anything other than the name of the SWF i was creating into the projector. Still, I have done it! This will do for now, although I think I will be back when it comes to refining the process. Thanks Smooth, you've saved my life!

Re: Easiest way to create offline tours?

Smooth, I am trying out the standalone player now, although I am having trouble getting it to work. I create a test skin and initial tour with al the swf links without a path. I load the test swf files into a folder, then load up the standalone player. I load up my intiial pano, and select make proj...

Re: Easiest way to create offline tours?

Smooth, can you point me in the right direction for this flash Standalone program? I have tried searching for it online but it brings up many different options, you seem to be referring to a specific program though. I downloaded something called 'flash standalone' and did not have the options you me...

Easiest way to create offline tours?

I have a current project that they wish to use in both online (easy) and offline mode. Now I know all about the online mode, but have no idea how to create the tour so that it can also be used in offline mode. The biggest problem is with the links to other panos. These work online, but not offline. ...

Re: OK, big problem here! - Delay in Pano loading...

I've been doing some testing of this problem, There is a way around it, although it is crude and not 100% effective. If you create an image, for example one saying 'please wait' then give it some instructions to hide on 'loaded', you then have to give each thumbnail a command like 'on click show but...
