Re: Point hotspot editing

It appears the Pano2vr project file is XML. Open the project file in Notepad or your favorite XML editor. Look for the hotspot and edit the coordinates. I do it all the time for my floating logo. I cannot double click at the exact bottom of my image when placing the hotspot. After placing the hotspo...

Re: Sometimes a pano loads, sometimes it does not

Fixed the problem. I was flying through all the panos, one right after the other, seeing if they would start to load. I was verifying that the Flash version was loading. I did not want to wait for the entire pano to load. I hit Atl-F4 to close the browser before the pano finished loading. When I tri...

Sometimes a pano loads, sometimes it does not

Having just learned how to make panoramas idevice and smart phone friendly, I modified and posted a bunch of panoramas to my web site today. Now, when I try to view the panoramas over the internet using my PC and Inernet Explorer, sometimes they load, sometimes they do not. When they do not load all...

Re: Autodetect mobile device screen size

So if I enable Multi res,set the settings and select "decode at startup", Pano2VR will generate the proper code to deliver the proper pano? "Multires levels: 2000 1000 500 Load at Startup and Decode at Start up." Do I set "Load at Startup" and "Decode at Startup" only for the 500 size or do I enable...

Autodetect mobile device screen size

I have tried searching this and other forums but cannot find the answer I am looking for. I guess I am not using the proper search criteria. I am trying to create panoramas that are viewable on mobile devices as well as desktops. I have the idevices and desktop working just fine. The problem is that...

Cannot get the Flash fallback to work.

I followed the on line tutorial and got my panorama to display just fine on an ipad. When I try to add the flash fallback, all I get when I try to view the panorama in IE9 is "This content requires HTML5/CSS3, WebGL, or Adobe Flash Player Version 9 or higher." I added a flash output to my existing H...

Re: HTML5/CSS3 tutorial does not match Pano2VR 3.1.2 - 64bit

Make sure you are making the HTML via the HTML5 Publish option and NOT Flash.
Do'h! I can see how this mistake could very easily be made. Especially by newbies to HTML5 like myself.

I now have the Flash fallback option. Thanks for the file.

Re: HTML5/CSS3 tutorial does not match Pano2VR 3.1.2 - 64bit

I do not have those options on the HTML tab. I have selected normal.ggt. Below "Background Color:" the very next section is "Show Userdata Table:". There is no Flash fallback option available.

HTML5/CSS3 tutorial does not match Pano2VR 3.1.2 - 64bit

I am starting up the learning curve for HTML5. While viewing the tutorial, a couple of things do not match. In the drop down for "New Output Format" I have HTML5. There is no HTML5/CSS3. In the HTML tab for HTML5 output, there is no provision to set Flash as the fallback player. Did I miss something?

Re: Pano2VR and Windows 7 over saturation output

UPDATE: I have all but given up on Windows 7 64 bit. There are many other issues I am struggling with other than panoramic photography. I installed XP Pro 64 bit. Pano2VR works PERFECT!!! The output is not over saturated. It is not the monitor (Dell 2408WFP), it is some driver in Win7. The preview s...

Re: Pano2VR and Windows 7 over saturation output

Here is some additional information that might throw more gas on the fire! I am using Photoshop to view the image. This is the baseline. When viewing the original .jpg in . WIndows Image and Fax viewer, it matches Photoshop. . IE 8, over saturation (not as much as Flash). . FF 3.5, very little satur...

Re: Pano2VR and Windows 7 over saturation output

Smooth, I knew you would have some info. I will work my way through the links you provided. Thanks. I have two hard drives. One has XP Pro 32-bit and the other has Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. The hardware is all the same. I swap out the hard drives for testing the two OSs. Under XP, I do not get the overs...

Pano2VR and Windows 7 over saturation output

I have been using Pano2VR for quite a while on my XP 32 bit computer. Pano2VR performs like a champ. Now that I am working my way through all the issues with going to Windows 7 64 bit, I am finding more problems with Pano2VR. My previous question about the preview screen not working was never addres...
