I've lost the equirectangular (and source) files from one of my projects. Is it possible to reassemble the equirectangular image from the tiles in the output folder?

Re: FACEBOOK Panos'

This does not work for me unless I first populate the photosphere metadata fields.

Re: Oculus Rift multi-node

FYI: I've decided to use Unity3D to create an extensive multi-node photographic VR tour for Oculus Rift. While it should be possible to us Pano2VR's browser-based solution, using a special webVR-enabled browser, this solution is still very much a beta-level project which has proved problematic. A ne...

Re: Oculus Rift multi-node

Thanks for your testing, Dave. Much appreciated. The point of making a standalone app is to be able to run the tour without opening it in a browser. Your method (deconstructing the runtime) kinda bypasses this. I should have sent you a Windows standalone, as the point is to make an executable that d...

Re: Free!! New User Reference Manual Now Available

What an excellent idea!

I would make it required reading for my class.

Re: dissecting the Cardboard skin

I just tried this, and it worked fine w/hotspots.

However "info hotspots" and embedded photos did not respond to the gaze. Can the gyro.js be modified to make these other interface elements function w/gaze?

Thanks, Hopki!

Re: dissecting the Cardboard skin

So... if I copy the elements from cardboard.ggsk into my own skin it will then have the gaze functionality, as long as the gyro.js is available?

dissecting the Cardboard skin

Hello, If I wish to build upon the cardboard.ggsk, adding my own map and other elements, I would like to have a better understanding of how it operates. Yet when examining it in the Skin Editor, I can locate no scripts, variables, or conditional statements that seem to make the gaze-hotspot operate....

Re: Oculus Rift multi-node

Thanks, Dave.

But... do you think my proposed solution (standalone app) is worth a go? Have you, or anyone else out there, any experience yet working with the new Rift?

Oculus Rift multi-node

Finally received my new (shipping version) Oculus Rift. Users can view their own single node VR content by putting an equirectangular or cubical pano (.jpg) into the directory: This PC\Pictures\OculusPhotos But currently, Firefox Nightly (webVR enabled) crashes when I attempt to send a multi-node HT...
