"Error loading panorama XML"
Trying to use HTML5, I'm getting an error message with .swf hotspot URLs: "Error loading panorama XML" I examined the HTML file and it seems to point to the correct XML file. Here's a test page: http://www.voicesfromthedawn.com/labbacallee-wedge-tomb/ Click on the image to lad the VR in a Floatbox. ...

Re: Converting cylindric QTVR
Never mind. I found that I could convert the QTVR to a cylindrical image using Stitcher. Thanks anyway!

Re: Converting cylindric QTVR
Hopki, can I please have permission to send you a 2.5 MB QTVR file that will not convert in Pano2VR? It just opens as a completely black image, even though it works find in QT7. It dates from 1997.
Thank you,
Howard

Re: Auto Rotation
(pan once then stop)Partial cylindrical Flash 9 panoramas do that by default.
Can this default behavior be modified so that a (flat) partial pano can pan back-and-forth?
Here (scroll down):

it would be helpful.
Thanks!

Re: How to make buttons in map aware of origin node?
What a novel approach! Thank you, I'll give it a try in a few days (when I have the opportunity to re-make all the panos...).

How to make buttons in map aware of origin node?
In this Pano2VR skin navigational map (view full screen): http://www.voicesfromthedawn.com/wp-content/sites/stonehenge/stonehenge.html I would like the skin's map buttons for the seven Stonehenge nodes to use the same node-of-origin URL target parameters (Pan/Tilt/FOV) that are used in the hotspots ...

Re: Are we going to see Iphone/Ipod compatibility soon?
I presume that Thomas (and others) have seen the HTML5 capabilities of "VR5 panorama viewer 1.0.0" by Ninoslav Adzibaba www.vrhabitat.com I just did my first one, quite easily, here: http://www.jour.unr.edu/goldbaum/vr5 (That URL will default to a Flash version if you're not using an iPhone or an iP...

Re: Metal Skin, take 2
Dave, thank you very much for the kind words. I'm living in England until July, working on the Ireland project, and also this, a virtual tour of Wroxton Abbey, where I'm residing: http://studentdev.jour.unr.edu/goldbaum/?page_id=137 Do you think that Thomas will see my post here (requesting the larg...

Re: Metal Skin, take 2
Hi Thomas, Thanks for this skin; I've modified it and now I think it's just about perfect for the Irish archaeology site I'm developing. I would if I might please ask a favor: I like the slight "toggle scale" effect when I apply it to the toolbar on the skin. However even a .15 increase in scale dem...

Re: Pan/Tilt/FOV parameters in html hotspot?
I know that I can insert the Pan/Tilt/FOV parameters in the "target" field for linking directly to another .swf pano file. What I would like to know, however: is it possible to pass Pan/Tilt/FOV when linking not to another .swf file, but when linking to a HTML page that CONTAINS the new .swf pano. T...

Pan/Tilt/FOV parameters in html hotspot?
Is it possible, in a hotspot link to a URL containing a new Pano2VR to pass the Pan/Tilt/FOV parameters to the new VR? Javascript in the URL link?
What would the link look like?
Thank you.

Problem in beta's "target" field for point hotspot
In Pano2VR 2.3 beta 5 Rev 1331; using Mac OS 10.6.2 Point Hotspot's "target" field does not function as it did previously; I had to go back to earlier version of app. If a string such as "65.5/-12.3/51: %$ht" is put into the "target" field, the hotspot does not load the next node into the same windo...
