Re: Number of nodes of the project limitation

Hello Bostjan, Pano2VR 5 needs the cache file, but with Pano2VR 6 we added an option to also work without that file. With the new Tiled Multires TIFF files you can work as fast from the start as with Pano2VR 5 with the fully loaded project. We also made some other modifications to make life easier w...

Re: Screen Size

You can play around with the HighDPI settings. http://doc.qt.io/qt-5/highdpi.html

You can use the environment variable QT_SCALE_FACTOR to make the whole app smaller. It is not a very nice way, but at least it should solve this problem.

Re: Open Output button greyed out/no live preview

This button is helpful, if you reopen a project where you already generated the output. You can also for example disable the "open after creation" in the settings, and just hit reload in the browser (or the smart phone, iPad...). If you do it this way, you need to have a way to open the initial window

Re: iframe wiggles in iPhone (iOS 11.0.2)

As the hotspots and the panorama are on different layers the may get rendered at different times. Normally the phone is fast enough to render them at the same time, but if you have too many HTML elements, iframes,... stacked then, it may get to slow. My iPhone 8 for example is fast enough doesn't sh...

Hello Dinesh,

did you generate the output first? What happens if you press the gear? Any error messages?

Re: Request: increment skin element name on paste

Hello Frank,

thx for the suggestion, but you already touched on the problem with that, because it gets tricky to find out what to do with actions.

Did you know that you can just double click on the exclamation to do exactly what you asked for?

I now realise that works only in conjnction with the Wordpress Plugin, yes?
Yes, you need the plugin. You can also embed the panorama in a more manual way, but then you need to use the html/javascript code from the index.html page and modify it to your needs.

Re: Image quality & Colour

Currently the preview player doesn't use the color profiles of your screen, but they should be handled correctly on the output in the browser (depending on the browser). Also the preview player uses some shortcut to make the image load faster, but looses some quality to avoid aliasing (the preview u...

Re: GGPKG upload to server and display problems. Please help!

Please have a look at https://ggnome.com/doc/pano2vr/5/cms-plugins/ . You can use the "file" parameter, to point to and extracted package. Please check the "create files for external embedding" in the HTML template, if you use an output folder. This helps the plugin to load the files faster. Screens...

Re: Start timer upon deactivation of a video

Sure you can. You add an action to the video. Source: Deactivate -> set value: x (these are the seconds), target timer. For the timer you also make a deactivate action -> start autroate You should set the default timer value to the maximum (600) so that it will not start on its own, before the video...

Re: Logical problem with tour start

So it should only show if the tour starts on the default node?
Just add a tag to the first node, and make and additional condition for the logic block for the tint with "and" - "contains tag" - "first_pano_tag". The rest can stay the same.

Re: Logical problem with tour start

You can use a variable to do this.
  • Add a bool variable like "show_at_start" with default true
  • add a visibility logic block that looks after that variable for the tint
  • add a skin action to set the variable to false if you click the tint
This should do the trick.

Re: Cross-origin image load denied by Cross-Origin Resource Sharing policy

This method is a hack, but there is an API call that also survives a new player.

You can add the line

Code: Select all

pano.setCrossOrigin("use-credentials");
to the HTML page.

I just uploaded an image and it "works". The Google player has such bad 3D rendering and wavy lines... but it looks like a panorama.
