Re: Formatting tooltips joys and pains ...

Well, no.

The output code contains an extra <br>, and my <p> tags are formatted through an external CSS stylesheet so as to control spacing, i.e. margin: 0; padding:0;

I have drawn borders around them, to be sure. See attached screenshot.

Re: Formatting tooltips joys and pains ...

Well, that's not really what I am talking about. Consider a text box, "Word wrap" is unchecked. In that text box enter the following text: <p>this is a paragraph</p> <p>this a second paragraph</p> What I'd like to see is this: this is a paragraph this a second paragraph What I get instead is this. T...

Formatting tooltips joys and pains ...

Hi: I found out that one can actually use CSS classes and IDs to format titles, subtitles, paragraphs, lists etc. in a tooltip. That way one can style all tool tips with an external CSS stylesheet without going through the skin editor for style changes. Handy! BUT there is an issue: pano2VR accepts ...

Selectively scrolling in iOS Safari?

Hi there: I noticed that if one allows for scrolling in a text box, in iOS this behaviour extends to the entire viewport. In other words, when scrolling in a text box you may end up bouncing the viewport - not my idea of a web app. Now, there is an easy way to prevent iOS Safari from bouncing: docum...

Re: Implementing tooltips on mobile devices

Ok,thank you. I was just going through the Apple dev docs on handling events in Safari iOS. In principle, one could also rely on "PreventDefault" to implement the traditional tooltip behaviour. I don't have the time to try this out just now, but I'll get back to you later and let you know. See https...

Re: Implementing tooltips on mobile devices

Indeed, I did find that, too. But to implement tooltips you would need some kind of swipe, wouldn't you?

Implementing tooltips on mobile devices

Hi: I really like the ability to move over an marked area and have a tooltip provide some information. However, I am having a hard time implementing this on an iPad. In Safari for iOS there is no :hover gesture, and pano2VR doesn't support mobile gestures such as swipe. How do you guys have dealt wi...

Re: Skin design and actions on iPad

Yep, works nice on the video, thank you. This particular configuration works for me as well. However, it is different from the one that didn't work yesterday in that I removed the ":hover" pictures. The iOS Safari dev docs do mention that there is no such thing as :hover and that a tap is not the sa...

Re: Skin design and actions on iPad

Hi there,

Thank you for checking this out. It definitively doesn't work here. The iPad is brand new, it's an iPad air.

Skin design and actions on iPad

Hi there: When porting a desktop-based web app to the iPad I discovered that certain actions available in pano2VR no longer work on ios7/Safari. Case in point is toggling auto rotation on and off. On my MacBook I simply used a click to accomplish this. Unfortunately, on the iPad the toggle action ca...
