Re: Hotspot Javascript URL difficulty

Try javascript:alert('test'); instead of javascript:alert("test"); Your quotes within quotes disrupt the javascript karma. (Those other quotes are not visible here. They are the quotes added by the pano2vr player. Which means, then we have quotes within quotes. Therefore, use single-quotes...

Re: opening windows

Use the hotspotProxyClick function in the skin.js file to display on/off the custom <div> tags you add to your html5 web page.

Re: add hotspot where user clicks? (using AS3)

Yes, agreed an error will display there, because the pano2vr html5 javascript API does not include the same "addHotSpot" function that the pano2vr flash API provides. Compare the javascript API: http://gardengnomesoftware.com/wiki/Pano2VR_-_Flash_-_JavaScript_API With the flash API: http:/...

Re: The voice of one crying in the wilderness

In html5 I Googled "css div style transition dissolve from to" and found many results. This example shows fade out and in between two images: http://webdesign.about.com/od/examples/l/bl-fade-in-out-css3.htm#twoImgSwap The html5 pano displays in <div id="container"> on the web pag...

Displays fine for me in IE 10. I see a pano above a key map. Both nodes on the key map display fine.

Re: add hotspot where user clicks? (using AS3)

I plugged a couple of my own mouse X and Y coordinates into your most recent action script above, and sadly, the results were off the mark. Edited 8/10/2013: In case you are not already using it, in the Pano2VR Viewing Parameters, select "Show Limits", and then, Right-click on the image an...

Re: add hotspot where user clicks? (using AS3)

All day on this, and found a significant lack of accuracy in my percentage theory above. Struggled, then had an epiphany, and created a quick, highly accurate proof-of-concept. This is the solution I will likely use, unless it leads you to suggest an even better idea? Step #1. Place a cross-hairs im...

Re: add hotspot where user clicks? (using AS3)

The flash pano displays in <div id="flashcontent">. This is how I would approach it, using #3 in my previous post: A. The top-left corner of <div id="flashcontent"> equals 0,0. B. The bottom-right corner of <div id="flashcontent"> varies. C. The height of <div id="...

Re: add hotspot where user clicks? (using AS3)

Assuming you are outputting to html? If so, the pano displays in <div id="container">. The <div id="container"> is a rectangle. As the user navigates, the pano spins, then center of the camera lens is always in the center of that rectangle. As described in previous posts on this ...

Re: 360 Video playback in Pano2VR

...Is this something that we may be able to do in Pano2VR in the future? I am wondering the same question. After all, Thomas Rauscher, Garden Gnome Software did speak on June 11, 2013 in Iceland about "360º Video Live Streaming by yellowBird": http://www.iceland2013.org/speakers/ EDIT: ye...

Re: Flash vs HTML5

Is "Lock Domain" even an issue in html? The Flash output is a single file for which "Lock Domain" is truly important, but the HTML output is many, many files. I have tried to steal my own HTML panos to no success. Send me a private msg if you know how? So I can patch that hole.

Re: show/hide skin during left mouseclick on pano

Yes, turn on/off HTML page elements from within the pano. Using the example code in my post above, open the skin editor and add this action to a button: Mouse Click >> Go To URL >> URL: javascript:hideMyDiv002(); Then add the following script to your HTML page: <script type="text/javascript&quo...

Re: Batch processor and GPU

After Googling “cpu gpu”, there is an on-going computer industry debate about which is more important, CPU or GPU. The differing opinions tend to boil down to each specific application's architecture and whether or not, and how that application utilizes the CPU or GPU. In the case of batch outputtin...
