Re: Taggable Panorama

Hi Hopki, that was my first thought as well, the tracking though is the challenge. I guess they will need to be guided to a form of some kind after claiming their item.

Thanks, I'll look further into this, quite a challenge!

Re: Taggable Panorama

Hi Hopki, In the panorama there will be certain items that people can 'claim' and thereafter cannot be claimed again. Afterward one of them will win a prize. The items can be pre-defined but preferably should be randomly pickable by clicking one. I think it will need a back-end database, can amount ...

Taggable Panorama

I have a project where I would like to have viewers create/claim a tag inside a panorama. Has anybody ever used something like this?

Re: My first go at an "iSkin"

It may be functioning well but from an interface-design perspective it is quite confusing, using arrow-heads on the +, - and show/hide icon is very inappropriate, also the size of the big arrows suggests to me that they should be swiped. Also design wise the colors are a bit in-you-face. You may wan...

Yessss, that seems to be the issue. Good to see that is is being addressed and that there is a workaround for now!

Beta 3 not working for me

When dropping an Equi on Pano2VR B3 (1502) the image just 'disappears'!

Image

The output is also black.

This happens with both versions 32/64 on my Macbook running OSX 10.5.8

Any clues anybody?

Re: ObjectVR turntable for hire/sale?

Thanks for the tip Smooth, I had seen that product, should work just fine but indeed with Canon. I found it easier to get the Roundshot VR drive since it can also be of use for regular 360 panos!

ObjectVR turntable for hire/sale?

Hi, I have a possible assignment shooting hundreds of shoes as ObjectVR. I'm looking for an automated system like Kaidan used to sell.

Does anybody here perhaps have one 'lying around' unused, preferably near Amsterdam Any tips on where to buy are also welcome of course!

Thanks!

Strange behaviour on sound loops!

Hi all, I've been using the sound option more and more lately and really love it, it adds a lot to the atmosphere! I have been noticing some strange behavior however, sometimes the sound loops fine (with small end-start 'gap' though but that's not my issue) Sometimes the sound loop is just short (ab...

Re: Fisheye

Sure, if there existed a square fisheye lense and a very precise panoramic head (not a bad idea come to think of it  ) So unfortunately you'll have to use a regular fisheye take at least two shots (with a 180+ circular view) and stitch those into a so called equirectangular image which than can...

Re: Video Panorama Equipment?

I think the example shown is done by sequencing many photo-panos in timelapse, a very time consuming trick indeed but very nice quality due to the process. I have yet to see a comparable result using a video-pano-system. Even the LadyBug by pointgrey cannot deliver this kind of quality.

Re: Pano Quality Problem....

Converting twice is indeed never a good solution, specially with the wrong converter. I convert my (PTgui stitched, edited and flattened) Equi to Cubic (using CubicConverter, Mac) edit the nadir in PhotoShop and feed Pano2VR the Cubefaces for Flash creation, I do not convert it back to Equi since in...

Re: Background sound 'muffled'

And, yesss, the problem has been tackled, the input sample rate set at 44Khz creates the correct sounding panos!

Thanks Wolff!
