Hi Jake,
By default you should see the preview images when facing forward, they will hide if the arrows are further than side on.
Also check the skin configuration, there is a setting to turn off the 3D Hotspot Preview/Tool Tip.
Other than that it should work.
If not, please send in your support ...

Hi Andre,
Thank you for reporting this, however using the Chrome, Meta Quest 3 emulator we are not seeing this, and testing before the beta release did not show any issues either.
When back in the office tomorrow we will test again using the Quest Headset.
But to be clear.

Re: Can I define an individual normal.ggt on project basis?
Hello JSpieler,
Go to Pano2VR and select File => Settings for the PC , Preferences on the Mac, then select the Files tab.
If you now "right-click" on the file path for HTML Template Directory, you want the html5 folder and inside you will see the normal.ggt.
You can then make a copy.
Please see this ...

Hello ErhartC,
Have a look at Postshot .
You can use photos or video to make a 3D Model or Splat, but the important thing is to have move than one view/angle of the same object/area in the scene.
The IVRPA had a couple of webinars on it, but you need to be a paid member to view them:

Re: Splitting Tours into sections
Hi Greg,
How many nodes does your tour have?
If you had like 10,000, then the XML file may take a few seconds to load as it contains all the data for each node.
But as far as images is concerned you would only load the node you are looking at, what speeds up load times is using multi resolution.

Hi Dave,
If you still want to use equirectangular images then that's ok, Pano2VR 8 supports all your normal images as well as 3D Mesh Models and Gaussian Splats.

Hello mate,
To start with you can use Polycam with is a phone app.
They give you a 7 day free trial, it then either a monthly or annual subscription. Of course there are other ways to produce 3D Mesh Models and Splats but this would be the easiest way.
I did this myself, so armed with an iPhone with ...

Hi Greg,
You can have one very large tour and use Direct Node Access, please see: LINK .
This enables you to have a link to start at any node in the tour.
You can get clever and remove point hotspots between nodes of the areas you want to split up.

Re: Applying Custom Multi-Res Levels for a Single Large Panorama. Possible?
Hi Manel,
This is a case of quantity vs quality.
In Auto level mode Pano2VR will separately set up the levels for each panorama.
But as soon as you set manual it will use that across all panoramas.
I would say leave it at Auto, but then using your tile size will reduce the number of files anyway ...

Hi,
You can use patches converted into images or point hotspots.
See this page: LINK
You can then add different images to "assets" and then this action to swap out the image:
Mouse Click, Go To URL, then for the URL add:
javascript:
pano.getMediaObject("Element02").src="assets/cat.jpg"

Hi,
Have a look at this Component , it uses round floor hotspots that the cursor snaps too.
This will give the viewer an idea of where the active areas are.
In your example, selecting an area without any interaction just causes a slight zoom in and out effect.
So you dont know where they are ...

Re: Output messing up file name encoding
Hello Roland,
Can you show us an example of a file name and say where the media is being used?
For example, is it a pinned video or pinned image.
Sound added in the viewer or skin?
Please can you add as much detail as possible.
