I've converted my equirectangular image to cubic, edited out the black nadir, then assembled my qtvr. The qtvr looks great when I do not compress it. However, when I try to make a smaller pixel version, the black nadir reappears in the final movie. Can I fix this somehow, perhaps renaming files or ...

The flash file created has big distortions such as "waves" on the stairs on this exemple:
