Re: Pano2VR 5 beta - new UI is slippery and confusing
Thanks for your response I am a big fan of of Pano2Vr so my input is coming from wanting to see a great product be a great user experience. In the cases, brought up, you have a way to do what I am referring to, the issue is that the way to do them is sometimes unorthodox or difficult to discover. 1....

Re: Kit Advice
Choosing you first (or any) setup depends on many factors including how you plan on using the panoramas , what kind of panoramas, what else you intend to use the camera for, and budget. Some things to consider: If you don't need very high resolution panoramas for a specific reason, 16MP sensors are ...

Pano2VR beta menu bar
After exploring the UI a bit and turning some options on an off, the top menu bar has disappeared. How do I get it back?

Pano2VR 5 beta - new UI is slippery and confusing
Sorry for the rant but when I see a a User Interface on one of my "go to" products with so many usability issues, I can't just say nothing. First, I want to say that I really like some of the new features in Pan2VR 5 such as the animation and and improvements to the skin editor but neither...

Re: Skin saving woes
Thanks. The skins are saving now without the sound reference.
I was thrown by the inconsistency in the UI. Everything else in the tree has "cut" in the right-click context menu so I was expecting the same behavior.

Re: Skin saving woes
Thanks for looking into it. How do I remove the mp3 sound? I can find an option to add sound in the sin editor but once it's there the parameters can be edited but I can't find a way to remove it.

Skin saving woes
I have some old panos from a few years ago that I am redoing and I want to update the skins. However, most of the time when I try to apply a new skin, it displays the old one anyway. This even happens if I create a new folder and create a new pano2vr project using only the .mov file from the old pro...

V5beta skin editor - missing parameters dialogs
I was working on a skin in v5 beta. (updated today). Everything was working fine until parameters for objects stopped displaying. Now none of that information is displayed on the right so editing is not possible.

Re: P2VR5 Skin causes crash
Here are the steps: 1. Created panorama with PTGUI and saved as equirectangualr tif. Dimensions were 10000x5000 and file size approx 200MB. 2. Opened Pano2VR beta and selected the above file 3. Clicked on Skin editor icon (upper right in the UI) 4. After the skin editor window opened, I did nothing ...

Re: HTML file output files for HTML5 and Flash
The issue I'm getting at here is that I'm always generating 2 HTML files and this is often confusing to customers. I revisited the Flash creation dialog and see that no HTML output file is not an option. I assume I have to use the Flash dialog to create the swf file. Is there an unforeseen problem i...

HTML file output files for HTML5 and Flash
Currently, when I create my panos in P2VR, I create HTML output files in both the Flash dialog and the HTML5 dialog. Would it be better to create just one in the HTML5 dialog, set it for Flash fallback and to NOT create html output in the Flash dialog?

What still requires Flash?
In order to maximize compatibility, I always create both HTML5 and Flash output. I've done it without questioning what specifically would be given up if my panos weren't Flash compatible. Nowadays, HTML is compatible with most everything as far as I can tell. In what situations is Flash still necess...
