Possible bug in using transitions in the skin
Hi, I am wondering if Hopki (or someone else) can verify either a work around or if this might simply be a bug? If I set a transition (for example cross dissolve) to be used between panos everything works fine. If I call the pano from a button or timer, within the skin, it works perfectly also. Ther...

Tracking the time in a video
I understand that with the seek-bar I can control where the play-head can be set (time-wise) in a video, but is there a way to trigger an action when the play-head reaches a specific time? For example, -move X item (or do something) when the video reaches 40 seconds. Can the property of where the pl...

Audio and HMD/Cardboard
Hi all, I thought I recalled that it was now possible to trigger a background sound (or have one play) from within the HMD/Cardboard view (split screen). Is this possible yet? I had it working for a bit while testing a project but all of the sudden the sound file won't play - not sure if it was rand...

Re: timer activated on 2nd pano loading
Thank you ALahode! I had actually read Hopki's solution a bit ago, but went down a different path as I was trying to get it to work in HUD/Cardboard. With your suggestion I was able to look at it again with a fresh set of eyes and get it to work. The only issue was in duel/HUD/Cardboard mode, it loo...

timer activated on 2nd pano loading
Hi all, I would like to trigger a timer to start when the user loads a 2nd or 3rd pano. Thus, having a hotspot image appear "x" seconds after that 2nd pano is loaded. Currently, I have searched the forum and tried a number of different solution that Hopki has suggested but none seem to be ...

Re: Using variables to trigger a new pano
Hi Hopki, As usual, thank you for your time. I guess my use of the word "directed" didn't come across as it probably should. I was hoping that once the user looked at all of the 10 hotspots then the next pano would automatically open. (instead of giving them a pop up asking them to move to...

Way to load the pano before the hotspot images
For the purpose of what I am trying to do let's say I have two panos which are exactly the same image. (not sure if that really matters in regards to loading cached tiles) When I link from the first pano to the second pano, the hotspot items in the skin and images associated with those hotspots for ...

Using variables to trigger a new pano
Hi all, I would like to have the user be directed to a new pano after they have clicked on each of the 10 items (hotspot images for this purpose) in the pano. I know I can track which images have been clicked on by using a t/f or numeric variable, but I am unsure of how to use that info to take the ...

universal hotspot textbox toggle
Is it possible to toggle off/on the hotspot text box from within the skin?
I thought I recalled there was a way to do this but I can't seem to find it in the forum.
(Also, I am trying to do this with a poly hs instead of a point hs)
thanks,
Geoffrey

hotspot proxy not working v2
This is an update on the hotspot proxy issue I am seeing. Hopki or Thomas, are you aware of this in the bug report or am I actually doing something wrong? I created two hotspots - a poly and point hotspot. I added a hotspot proxy ID for each within the skin editor that targets separate text boxes wi...

HMD video and sound
Hi, I have been developing with the standard still cardboard.ggt for HMD with no problems. Now I am looking into taking a few of our 360 videos and creating HMDs out of them. I am able to get positive results after converting the 360 video to mp4 and then using the vr.ggt - It has been working when ...

Seeing the pan value in terms of 360
I saw this posted back in 2009. I searched but couldn't find a solution. Does anyone have any thoughts?
I want to add a numeric value to my compass. Is it possible to display the current pan value ($ap) in terms of 1-360 rather than 0 through 179 and -180 through 0?
thanks,
Geoffrey

Re: How to set the numeric pan value
Jim, Thanks, I didn't know a $an was available, since I am grabbing the variable outside of the skin and sending through a separate js file, I am not sure how I would get the $an to work??? I did explore the skin.js and found there is a getPanNorth() call. I am going to explore a bit more and see if...
