Re: ios8 and older panos

On http://www.brightonsarchitecture.com/squares.html I've started adding multi-resolution (Brunswick and Adelaide). Where "iPad Panorama" is listed, this was done with mobile settings; originally this was OK with my iPad2(early model) but the transition to iOS8 now gives only a lo res imag...

Re: ios8 and older panos

Thanks for your very swift reply!
I'm sure you're right - but that's a lot of panos!
It's strange that the old html5 panos were fine (iPad 2 original) under iOS 7, but not now ...
That's progress!

ios8 and older panos

on http://www.brightonsarchitecture.com I have a number of panos going back to 2007 or so. Example: http://www.brightonsarchitecture.com/stnicholas_iPad/1.html Originally they were Flash, but as the software has developed, html5 was added for iPads, and now, with 4.5.1, I produce Flash/html5. Lookin...

Re: Extra quote and semicolon in branded HTML 5 ???

I certainly do have this problem - you are not alone.
Much as I admire the GGS team and their work, this branding splash screen is UGLY!
Hoping for a fix,
Duncan

Re: Pano2VR beta 4 bugreport

It would seem that the <User Data> no longer accepts html; is this a bug or a feature?

Re: iBooks Author

Very many thanks for this - if only you knew how long I'd been puzzling over this; as always (well, nearly always), it works like a charm.
Thank you, Gnomes.

You are not alone! Thomas posted this: Re: html5 skin by thomas » Sat Aug 14, 2010 12:45 am I guess the problem is your web server. SVG images should have the mime type image/svg+xml but your server sends them as text/html which confuses Safari. If you don't have full control of the web server you c...

Certainly getting better!
Would you know why the aerial pano starts out from a black screen while the beach scene doesn't?

Re: html/css3 on Safari PC and new iPad2

As yourself, I have finally got an iPad 2 ... While the flash pano is as one would expect, the iPad version does seem to be a little soft. I have found the same to be true on my own work - the iPad screen is a unforgiving and does give a very crisp image on stills - maybe the sweet spot is yet to be...
