Re: Pano inside Joomla Article

I use the following and ignore the script altogether <!--Begin Virtual Tour Code--> <object id="unique_id" classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="500" height="375" codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/sw...

Re: one button toggles between 2 panos

Create two buttons, one on top of the other, one hidden, one shown. When the first is clicked give it the action to toggle it's visibility to off, and the visibility of the other button to on. Link each to the respective panoramas. The correct button will always show as long as start with one on, on...

Re: Small Size / Full Screen --> Diff File sizes?

DIdn't know those params had been added! Excellent!

For hotspots, just store a variable 'high or low' in one of the user data fields so that whichever mode you're in the link calls to the right high or low folder to load the next panorama.

Simples!

Re: Observations on AutoPano Tour vs Pano2VR

Glad you got that sorted. To set your limits, hit 'modify' in the viewing parameters box, then make sure you check 'show limits' under viewing limits. Pan up and around to find the point that just hides your blank area then hit 'set' at the top, pan down and down the same at the bottom. Click ok and...

Re: Observations on AutoPano Tour vs Pano2VR

I've never had that distortion in any panos with pano2vr. Almost looks like a QTVR cylinder to me with a low rendering quality.

Re: Button to cycle through all panos

Thanks for your comment. Glad you enjoyed the Church pano, its was a white balance nightmare inside with more types of lighting than I've ever seen in one place!

Re: Button to cycle through all panos

Decide what order you want the panos to run in and name them 01,02,03 and so on. Use the 'User Data' fields in the project file to store the name of the next and previous panos, perhaps the source and info fields for each pano as you make them. If you're working on 03, make source '02.swf' and infor...

Re: decompile swf

You'll never 100% protect your work whatever you try. I've not heard of too much Virtual Tour Pilfering going on, so I guess the risk is less likely compared to other forms of photography, I speak from experience on that one! You will always have the original source images, so if you ever had the ne...

I use supercubic to fix the poles in photoshop and try not to convert to cube faces at all apart from that.

Re: Top and bottom images

You will also need to have shot zenith and nadir images and blended them into your panorama. It sounds like you haven't captured the full scene, in which case just adjusting the ratio will cause your panorama to appear to come to a point as the zenith and nadir isn't properly represented or seamless...
