Help needed with scrolling side by side HTML 5 pans
Hi, It's been almost a couple years and I'm in need of trying to replace the Flash pans in this project with HTML 5 ones. We will be shooting some new ones this year and it makes sense to have them be HTML5 so they are viewable on mobile devices and will work in the future if Flash goes away. It too...

Re: Poor quality of pans on mobile devices
Hi Dave, Thanks for checking that out. Sorry, I should have sent a TinyURL - I just hate trying to tap in those long URLs, too! Personally, I would never use those directional arrow buttons, but I noticed you use them all on your pans. Did you start with just two and then get feedback about that? I ...

Re: Poor quality of pans on mobile devices
Hi Dave, Thanks for you kind comments. :-) And thanks for finding that stitching error! I usually do fix all that stuff in PS. Not a problem - I'll get that done. Isn't the offset filter wonderful! I use that a lot. One question: Did the full tool bar fit on your phone? It barely fits on my iPhone 5...

Re: Poor quality of pans on mobile devices
Hi Dave - you were right, it just wasn't working right on the local server but works like a charm online! Here's the link if you want to take a look. Both pans have the new skin and it just barely fits on my iPhone. I might get rid of the "info" button, if it looks like we won't need it. h...

Re: Poor quality of pans on mobile devices
Hi again, I did get this finally to connect up. But I had to put the actual URL for that particular page in there under "Parameters". Wouldn't there be a universal command to just return to the previous page? Your "javascript:window.history.back()" was not giving me anything. I d...

I did find some links on different pages that seemed to work:
Build a Custom Controller - http://ggnome.com/wiki/Build_a_Custom_Controller
Toolbar and Menu Bar (Skin Editor) - http://ggnome.com/wiki/Toolbar_and_Menu ... in_Editor)

Re: Poor quality of pans on mobile devices
Hi Dave, I followed your instructions below and was able to get my back button formatted with my other buttons, but there is no action happening. I simply want the action to be to return to the previous page (where the pan was linked from). It seems like my target for the Mouse Enter and Mouse Leave...

Some Skin Editor tutorials missing. :-(
Hi, I'm trying to learn about using the Skin Editor and noticed there are bad links to some tutorials. I get a Page Not Found error for the Toolbar Menu Bar Skin Editor, Add a Clickable Logo, and Create a Custom Controller tutorials. These GG tutorials are very helpful. Can someone please link up th...

Re: Poor quality of pans on mobile devices
Hi Hopki, Thanks for your reply. I had to take a break from all this and am now back at it. I started a reply post yesterday, but then had to leave my computer for a little while and when I finished the post and tried to post it, I lost it all, since it was wanting me to log into the forum again. :-...

Add simple "back" button to Simplex skin?
Hi all, I've only dabbled in the Skin Editor to delete some buttons I wasn't using, but now I want to add a nice "back" button. I'm having a hard time getting the HTML5 files to format correctly on iOS devices inside existing HTML pages, so I'm simply linking off to a full screen html outp...

Re: Poor quality of pans on mobile devices
I think I know what is going on with my pans. They are not "responsive" and scaling down on my iPhone and iPad, hence they are looking "zoomed" in and not the correct FoV. Even though the frame is scaling down, the pan inside is not. Garden Gnome wizards - can you please tell me ...

Poor quality of pans on mobile devices
Hi, I've been experimenting with various output to try to achieve a better, sharper pan as viewed on my iPhone 5s. Dave has graciously checked out one of my pans on his Android device and thought that pan looked OK. But I'm still not satisfied with the quality especially compared to what I'm seeing ...

Re: Pans "falling off" html page when viewed on iOS devices
Thanks Hopki, I was able to edit the Simplex skin to delete one button and now the whole controller skin will fit in portrait view on my iPhone 5s. This only seems to be a problem when I embed the pan inside another HTML page. If viewing the HTML page output directly from Pano2VR, the pan shows up f...

Re: Pans "falling off" html page when viewed on iOS devices
Hi Hopki, I am using multi resolution - levels of 650, 1300 and 2600. Also, I put in some of the other parameters you have with your iFrame example and it made no difference as far as the controller skin - it is still getting cut off on the right and left when viewed portrait or landscape on my iPho...
