Built in Viewer for Galaxy 10.1 2014 edition
Just updated my Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition to the latest Android OS. While browsing pictures stored on my tablet I noticed a new icon appearing right in the middle of all of my Pano pics. Tapping on the icon launched a built in viewer. Granted you cannot display a tour this way and my "float...

S3 - phone - gave up waiting for the higher res pieces to load Note 10.1 2014 edition - tablet - loads painfully slow but looks great once the pano loads Note 4 - table - gave up waiting for the initial pano to load I have a fiber optic internet connection...

Re: Android Goodreader alternative for offline tours
For Android you need to use your software that came with your device to make a folder then transfer your output files to it. I do not know about MAC computers, but with Windows computers, once you plug the serial cable in and the drivers load, your Android device shows up as an external USB drive. ...

Re: Android Goodreader alternative for offline tours
Since each cell phone manufacturer can build in custom specifications based on the carrier's needs, it is kind of tough to have a reliable "one size fits all" solution for mobile viewing, either on cell phones or tables. The target keeps moving from device to device, from IOS to Android. B...

Re: Android Goodreader alternative for offline tours
After downloading and trying out oh so many browsers, Opera is the one I finally got to work reliably. I just tried FireFox again. FireFox is confused between panning around the pano and scrolling the screen. I just could not get it to work properly. Here is a page I put together a few years ago sho...

Re: Moving people
This is a 2 second exposure. If there were moving people that I wanted to eliminate, I would increase the exposure time to 30 seconds or longer. Sometimes that renders people invisible, provided they continue to move around. Since I was alone in the room, I could concentrate on proper exposure at ve...

Re: Moving people
I hate to be the one to state the obvious, but in order to freeze people you need to speed up the shutter. If you speed up the shutter you need to either increase the ISO or open up the lens. ISO 400 does not leave a whole lot of room to work with. Blurry people in a pano is very noticeable, no matt...

Re: Chrome and Firefox on Android
No complainets using Opera on my Galaxy S3. Nice smooth scrolling and the gyro works great. I tried Chrome and Firefox and had horrible results.

Re: Panorama Players for Android
Just tried Firefox again. So very many crashes. When it works, it is very fast and smooth. Opera has yet to crash.

Re: Panorama Players for Android
On my Galaxy S3 the only browser I could get to work properly when viewing local panoramas was Opera. I had to change one system switch. Go to this URL in Opera: opera:config. User Prefs -> Check Allow File XMLHttpequest -> Scroll all the way down and select Save. Restart Opera. All others, includin...

Re: Version 4.1.0 messes up the html5 template directory
Good install/uninstall routines do not delete user data. Even if you uninstall, your customized files should remain. That is common practice with the professional software I use.

Re: Version 4.1.0 messes up the html5 template directory
I have been using Pano2VR for years. I have modified normal.ggt and the template .html files. Each upgrade my customizations are lost. I have notes on where files are stored. Prior to the last upgrade I backed everything up. It seems as if the installer deletes all the folders and does a fresh insta...

Re: Error:Error:NETWOK_ERR:XMLHttpRequest exception 101
Hopki, my first post was in response of your short first post support that was not helpfull at all: "Use Firefox or Safari which will allow local access to xml files."! Sometimes just switching browsers is all that is required. His response was totally helpful. In this case it may not be ...

Re: Error:Error:NETWOK_ERR:XMLHttpRequest exception 101
***** If this was easy, Pano2VR and this forum would not exist ***** I have to agree 100% with Hopki. There is no solution that will work on 100% of mobile (and desktop) devices 100% of the time. Each device has its own requirments. My panoramas display just fine on my PC and iPod Touch and Ipad. On...

Are you trying to display your panoramas locally or over the web?
I had the exact same issue while trying to display panoramas stored locally on my phone. I fixed it by finding a browser (Opera) that would allow local http requests.
