Hello As usual, I apperciate any help. I would like to put a popup on the tour, in the html which pops up above the flash file. The instructions I have been given seem simple... But I have no clue where to start. Here are the instructions: This has a simple solution - flash elements by default alway...

Re: PRELOADING OF SCENES ETC
The player is an swf with video being an flv, compressed as much as possible... SADLY the only further way to optimise is the use of preloading... and this seems to be an obstacle.

Re: PRELOADING OF SCENES ETC
I am doing a wine farm which would like background sound, directional sound, popup images and popup window with video. ASKING FOR A LOT I KNOW... SO... The skin is not big, in all about 250kb. The popup images are not an issue either, 50kb here and there (external to skin)... The sound is not that m...

Re: PRELOADING OF SCENES ETC
Hey smooth I have used a couple of scripts thinking that the work differently, or that I am just cr@p at implementing them but none of them actually seem to work WITH pan2vr... SO I clear my cache... no files. Load the page with the script... JPG files are in the cache... cool... then I open the htm...

PRELOADING OF SCENES ETC
Has anyone had any success in loading content while the tour is loading? So, no one wants a big skin, which is going to slow down the initial start of the tour. What I would like to do is load the skin and obviously the first scene, but then load the remaining scenes in the background while the user...

Re: Preloading of audio
Hey Martin This is weird. When you create anything in the tour it creates an id... when i externalise the file the tour plays no problem, but when I look at the code, I cant find the mp3, or the id for the mp3. When I rename the MP3 file then the sound does not play, rename it to original it does, b...

Re: Preloading of audio
Hey Martin. Other products such as easypano, load files in order of use, so it can preload the areas you hope people will follow so there is no loading time in between. This is what I am wanting to achieve with pano2vr. What I am wanting to achieve is the following: Load first area and skin etc, whi...

Re: hotspot to video
I would suggest spending the $7 or whatever the cost is and get Hopki's skin. It took me 2 days to work out... Alternatively there are skins around which will provide limited success.

Preloading of audio
Hey All I have had a request to add some narration to some areas of the tour (directional). I have considered using javascript to preload the mp3 files. Before embark, anyone have advice? I am considering externalising the file and then in the initial html page using a script of sorts to preload. AN...

Re: panoramic equipment
It is similar to what the google earth guys use but not the same equipment. The lenses are quite large (8mm), so is the housing so it seems like it might be a home made type system incorporating several cameras.
