Re: Panoramas Stopped Working

Thanks for spotting that Tony - I owe you a beer! I have no idea how that one JS file could have been deleted from the server. Luckily I had plenty of backups so all is good now.

Panoramas Stopped Working

A load of panoramas on my website have stopped working. They are displaying this error message: This content requires HTML5/CSS3, WebGL, or Adobe Flash Player Version 9 or higher. I've tested them on Windows 11 (Firefox and Chrome), Android phone (Firefox and Chrome), and iPad and get the same error...

Re: Controls Disappearing on Firefox Android

Is no-one else seeing this, or does no-one use Firefox any more?

Controls Disappearing on Firefox Android

All the control buttons are disappearing when you select Full Screen mode in Firefox on Android mobile phones. See examples here: https://asms.uk/virtualtour/ https://stmatthewstpaul.org/st-matthews/ Any of these: https://reeddesign.co.uk/panoramas/ They were working correctly until recently. They w...

Text Wrap when Editing Long Description

Feature Request: would it be possible to have the text wrap automatically when editing long Description text (or any other long text field) in the edit box?

Re: Presenting Tours offline

I assume there are other solutions? Running via a server is the safest method, but you can turn off browser security settings for local file restrictions which will allow you to run a tour locally (usual warnings apply). For instance in Firefox: Open up a new tab. Type or paste about:config in the ...

Re: Solved: Firefox 68 loading issue | Local index.html wont't load context | Panorama doesn’t load

You can do it on Chrome, but it's much more fiddly. Close all running instances of Chrome. Start a command prompt / terminal window. (On Windows, type Command Prompt in the Search box, and then, in the list of results, click Command Prompt.) Find the Chrome executable folder. In the command prompt t...

It works for me, but currently I only have an example on my local testing server, so can't share.

Re: Hosting - Client area

What I do is create a password protected folder for each client and load the relevant panoramas to those folders. Password protecting individual folders can be done very easily if your web hosting uses cPanel or some similar control panel.

Re: TIF Patch Files

I have an image editing program (Corel PhotoPaint) that just won't open then. Not a real problem, I just exported as PSD instead.

TIF Patch Files

Is there a reason why patches are exported as multi-page TIF files with the patch at various resolutions? PSD, JPG, PNG, etc are all exported as just a single image. Not all image editors can open multi-page TIFs.
