IOS Lens Flare issue

Thanks for the fix in Pano2VR 6.1.10! which eliminated the IOS black screen problem in panos w/lens flare effects. However... does this mean that I must go back and remake all my panos that include such effects? Or.. (hopefully) if I create in my WordPress installs a new "master GGPKG package" the n...

"Quick Share" button

I was hoping that the "quick share" button would create an image that would immediately allow me to display a panorama on FaceBook. However... it appears only to work for unconstrained equirectangular images; not for cylindrical, or less-than-full rotation panoramas. Is this correct? If so, can the ...

It worked with "on config" and "is mobile."

Conditional Mouse Wheel

mouseWheel.jpg Consider this a feature request please. When I place a pano into a web page, I disable the mouse wheel, as it's confusing to the end user when the mouse wheel zooms the pano at the same time it scrolls the web page. But when I create a version of the same pano for direct hand-held ac...

As an American, it's not very comforting to learn that some of our nation's top national security professionals are only now thinking about ditching Flash.

Re: Tab + Enter tour control

Hello,

I'm wondering what the outcome of your experiment was?

Also...how do you resolve the accessibility issues for the visually impaired? Is there a way to have something similar to the "alt tags" that may be read aloud by a visually-impaired person's screen reader?

Thank you,

Re: Pano2VR crashes created HTML5 Output

Now... I cannot replicate the problem.

If memory serves... last week the crash was occuring when I was working with a tour that combined cylindrical and equirectangular images.

If it happens again, I'll let you know.

Re: Pano2VR crashes created HTML5 Output

Hi Hopki,

I've been seeing the "the pyramid message," followed by the app hanging, repeatedly since the last update. Quitting the program, and restarting it, seems to fix the issue.

Re: Call for Tours!

Well... It's a bit late for St. Patrick's Day, but I put this up on my social media yesterday, featuring the purported grave of the saint: https://voicesfromthedawn.com/mound-of-down/ This one is interesting, as it's from Sienna, Italy, and shot last month entirely w/my iPhone and a monopod: https:/...

The output will not work locally; only from a webserver. For local deployment, use Firefox with this fix:

Re: Use Gyro viewer prompt for Mobiles

Ah ha. I get it now. I've inserted the "Gyroscope Silhouette" component, and it works perfectly. https://allaroundnevada.com/wp-content/vr/nearly/gettysburg/combined/ So... NOW, do I need to go back to every pano I've authored and re-do the output using this skin element so that the gyro will functi...

Re: Use Gyro viewer prompt for Mobiles

Thanks, Hopki.

I understand how that works (w/the Enter VR button) for a HMD.

But... what's the process for enabling the gyro for the normal (Non-HMD) view on the phone, with the user able to animate the VR just by moving the phone.

Re: Use Gyro viewer prompt for Mobiles

There is something I'm missing. I thought that the latest P2VR player (v. 6.1.1) would automatically (on a smartphone) prompt the user to enable the gyro. But it doesn't work for me: https://allaroundnevada.com/wp-content/vr/nearly/gettysburg/combined/ I thought the the "gyro view prompt" would work...
