Multiple skins, 1 pano
Is it possible to combine skins in a single pano? By that I mean can you use your, e.g., normal navigation controller, and add a floorplan to that pano too? Being able to do that has obvious advantaged in allowing the Pano2VR user to have, in this case, a single controller and add things like floorp...

Autorotate speed and Actions order
Can autorotate speed be controlled directly in a skin or can skins only toggle autorotate? If skins can only toggle autorotate then I need to set the speed (and any other attributes) in the Flash Output window and in the skin editor add "loaded, toggle autorotate" as the 1st action to prev...

Re: Pano2VR 2.2 beta3 released
I just had the same thing happen after an upload last night. At first I thought it might be a version difference between beta 2 and beta 3 but looking at the file dates locally they all had to have been created with beta 2. The thing that's really strange is 2 of them work correctly (on the server) ...

Re: Fullscreen right from the start
I simply mean a framed window (not fullscreen). Thanks for the clarification. You have a HTML page with a link to your tour. It will open the static Thumbnail panorama scene from there you MUST either select fullscreen and from that point on you can link the thumbnails to other panorama scenes and ...

Re: Fullscreen right from the start
Pop-up blockers are for unrequested pop-ups. They may block my work but I've never had anyone mention it on any of my sites in at least the past 7 or 8 years of using pop-ups. So long as you start from a regular page with frame set then I don't see any issue. Simply make a panorama with a stagnant/s...

Re: Fullscreen right from the start
I understand that it's rude, as rude as resizing someone's browser vs. using a pop-up window, and I wouldn't use it (unless it was a kiosk or something like that). My question was based on a site someone showed me that starts with a FPP page of thumbnails that open fullscreen panos. I figure if FPP ...

Fullscreen right from the start
I want a pano to open fullscreen as soon as it's loaded, so I created a test controller and added an image setting its action to: Source Mouse click Action Toggle Full Screen Then I added a 2nd image and set its action to: Source Loaded Action Trigger Click Target Image 1 As I'm sure you see by the ...

Re: Protection of swf files (from gousable.com)
Thomas, to make this completely foolproof (although I'm sure I'd find a way to screw it up), is it possible to have the pano "phone home" and tell us where it is if it's run on someone else's domain? It'd be like having a run-on-wrong-domain-activated ELT installed embedded in the file. I'...

Re: Text in the skin editor
I've seen that before, thanks for the reminder. "Embedding a font is technically not too hard (I hope) but raises a bigger problem for me with copyright because for most fonts you don't have the right to redistribute them (even those included with Windows as far as I know) so I need to find a w...

Re: Text in the skin editor
Thanks for the links, guys. For some reason (I swear it was the dog's fault) I thought that the text was converted to graphics when the SWF is generated vs. it being live text and using a font on the user's machine. The point being that we can't use fancy fonts (for a header or whatever), rather we ...

Text in the skin editor
I know you can use basic HTML font attributes with text but is it possible to select the font and size or are we stuck with the default font and size?

Re: Hotspot exact position centre within nadir (Tripod Cap)
I found that you can simply use a point hotspot, slap it anywhere in the Editor grid and add your image to that (and any actions etc. you want). Save the P2VR file. Close it. Open it in a text editor, go down to <hotspot> and change pan to 0 and tilt to -90. Save the file and reopen it in Pano2VR an...

Re: Hotspot exact position centre within nadir (Tripod Cap)
How were you able to figure this out? And, more to the point, have you been able to do it without using an onscreen ruler (I have one, but that's not the point)? I need to put a non-rotating logo on the nadir and there's got to be a way (easy or hard) to do it. We should be able to position objects ...
