Re: html5/css3: Resolution settings for i-pad / i-phone ?

A .ggt template is simply a .html page with the file extension changed (from .html to .ggt) and then added to the Pano2VR HtmlTemplates>html5 directory. If you have made a .html page your happy with and want to use it as a template simply add it to your HtmlTemplates directory. Regards, Smooth 8) H...

Re: How to hide the URL bar in Safari?

Arturo, Have a look at http://iwebkit.net/ - a framework for developing iDevice Web Apps - so they will look like a native app in Safari - much like your web site does. It can remove everything except the very top bar - see their demo. I havn't got one yet :( Hi sportsnapper. Yes, in fact my site u...

Re: html5/css3: Resolution settings for i-pad / i-phone ?

Brian, there are 3 "bars" in the iPxxx browser. 1.- The topmost that shows the wi-fi antenna/time/battery 2.- Next to the top most is the ugly one that everyone wants to hide (that with the space to type the URL and the small Google space) because consumes most of the small screen of iPhon...

Re: How to hide the URL bar in Safari?

Hi Arturo, Smooth has a suggestion: http://gardengnomesoftware.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=4900#p19641 Karyn, yes, I know that saving the url as a shortcut using "+" allows viewing the site in pseudo-fullscreen, but it is not a practical solution. You want your site's visitors use y...

Re: html5/css3: Resolution settings for i-pad / i-phone ?

Hi Brian, You won't be able to get your image to go to "real" fullscreen, because this simply can't be done with Safari Mobile. Fullscreen here means resizing to fill the browser window. The URL bar will always stay on top. Karyn, if you visit from an iPhone these panos I created, you wil...

How to hide the URL bar in Safari?

Anyone knows how to hide the URL bar that uses a lot of the small screen area of iDevices when showing a panorama, but without using additional code (css or js) i.e, just using a ggt like the fullscreen.ggt shared by Hopki in this forum? (apparently the meta tags "viewport"/"apple-mob...

Re: Externalising Full Screen Button

Hi. Here you can see another approach to launch a panorama in full screen mode from a "button" --> http://demo.360panotours.com/fs The method is not elegant but its simple and works. 1.- Create the button image (should be with sharp corners, either square or rectangular, without transparen...

Re: html5 skin

Hi Arturo Looking at the skin, there are two sets of buttons, img_1_n.svg and an img_1_o.svg, o being the over state. In the xml for the skin there is this instruction for mouse over. <type>svg</type> <image>img_1_n.svg</image> <imageover>img_1_o.svg</imageover> However I can not see the action in ...

Re: html5 skin

I guess the problem is your web server. SVG images should have the mime type image/svg+xml but your server sends them as text/html which confuses Safari. If you don't have full control of the web server you can try to add the correct mime type in your .htaccess file with this line: AddType image/sv...

Re: Multiple Tours + Thumbnails

Kirby, here an example I did using only Pano2vr's skin editor --> http://www.360panotours.com/edificio_sf.html I notice that when you place the cursor on top of the thumbnails, it has a snazzy effect of displaying the room name whereby the text follows the cursor. i don't know what this effect is c...

Testing HTML5 with Safari on iPhone and Windows 7

I just created a small tour (2 panos) to test the new Pano2vr v3 HTML5 for mobile devices. I'm having some issues while testing the results on my PC (I do not have an iPod Touch nor an iPad nor an iPhone). I'm having the following problems: 1.- The area hotspots are not working at all (point hotspot...
