Re: Why is it that Pano2VR sucks at compressing PNG files?
Hi Tony, Thanks for confirming this issue for me. Indeed the Gnomes have to clarify a few points: Why is it that Pano2VR creates two versions of the Floor Plan but only the small one is presented in the tour making it look fuzzy when viewed on big desktop screens? Why is it that Pano2VR doesn't opti...

Re: Why is it that Pano2VR sucks at compressing PNG files?
Hi Tony,
Maybe there's a bug in there somewhere!
The original file though is 118.67 KB
You mention the original file is 291 KB but that's no my computer says!
Mr. Hopki must surely be able to enlighten us...
Cheers

Hi Tony,
For sure, here's a sample PNG file: https://fil.email/JOUep8MT
This is the actual file I mention in this post.

Why is it that Pano2VR sucks at compressing PNG files?
G'Day, I noticed that while Pano2VR is excellent at compressing JPEG images, when it comes to PNG files, it sucks big time. For example, I have a Pano2VR project that uses a custom Tour Map which is a PNG file (image with transparent background). That file is originally 119 KB. When I generate the o...

Re: Feature Request - Support Additional Color Profiles in Pano2VR
Hi Martin,
Just bumping this post to see if you can have a look at it and maybe consider this for the next Pano2VR version?
Or do you have a point of view that this shouldn't be considered?

Re: Convert Patch to Pinned Image loses position!
Hi Martin, Just a heads up that in addition to the missing Roll value, the Convert Patch to Pinned Image function also sometimes loses the Aspect Ratio (also called Vertical Stretch in the Pinned Images Properties Tab). This one is a bit weird though. I'm working right now on a fairly complex projec...

Feature Request - Support Additional Color Profiles in Pano2VR
G'Day, Pano2VR currently supports sRGB Color Profile. You can tick a box in the Output Settings and your HTML5 output image tiles will be converted to sRGB regardless of the origin Color Profile. This works very well, but why stop there? We should be able to select other Output Color Profiles in add...

Pinned Images Output Color Profile Issues
G'Day, In the Pano2VR Output settings I have ticked Convert Color Profile to sRGB. One would assume Pano2VR would Convert the Color Profile of all HTML5 output images to sRGB as it does with the image tiles. If my input pano is in AdobeRGB or any other Color Profile the HTML5 output process will gen...

Re: Why aren't Pinned Images tiled or at least made Multires by Pano2VR?
Thanks Martin,
Indeed, Pinned Images are a great feature to have and I use it a lot.
It will be a great thing for Pano2VR if you guys can improve this feature as I request.
Cheers

Why aren't Pinned Images tiled or at least made Multires by Pano2VR?
G'Day, I'm wondering why aren't Pinned Images tiled or at least made Multires by Pano2VR? AFAIK Pinned Images are just dumped on the Media Folder and served from there as they are and served at full res regarding of screen size? Given Virtual Tours are served to a lot of different screen sizes and V...

Re: Convert Patch to Pinned Image loses position!
Hi Martin, I've send you the Support Package as requested and also the Complete test project so you can see all the files in there. Sorry that you wasted your time without managing to reproduce the issue. Here's how you can recreate the issue yourself: 1) Use the Patch tool to create a patch 2) Adju...

Re: Convert Patch to Pinned Image loses position!
FYI I did some further testing and figured out that if I manually copied the value from Roll (Original Patch) to Z Rotation (Pinned Image) and make it positive instead of negative, the Pinned Image will match the position. For example: Original Patch Position: Pan: -141.86° Tilt: -43.28° Roll: -31.0...

Convert Patch to Pinned Image loses position!
G'Day, I've used the button to Convert a Patch to a Pinned Image lots of time before without any problems, unfortunately, today, when I attempted doing that same thing, a problem emerged (I've just updated to the latest Pano2VR version Yesterday, not sure if it is related to that). The problem is, t...

debug.log question
G'Day, Over the last couple days I've been seeing this file (debug.log) coming up on the virtual tour folder I'm working at the moment. Said file contains this info: "[1017/162049.086:ERROR:directory_reader_win.cc(43)] FindFirstFile: The system cannot find the path specified. (0x3)" I can'...
