Re: website security and Pano2vr's html template
It is rather cumbersome and I have not done it on my own website yet, but what needs to be done is first take out the inline javascript (from the html page) and put it in its own file in the same folder as where the pano resides and make sure that the other js files (pano2vr_player.js and skin.js) a...

looking for download page
Hi, its been a while, At the moment we have a very big forest fire in the mountains behind our house (BobCat fire in San Gabriel mountains) and I have secured my main PC off site. Now I want to update Pano2VR on my spare computer, but when I click on "look for update" nothing happens. On t...

Re: website security and Pano2vr's html template
If the webhost's http>https conversion does not allow offsite scripts, why don't you put the easy rotator script file on your own server? It is probably a good idea to not allow off-site scripts anyhow.

website security and Pano2vr's html template
Has anyone here implemented a "Content Security Policy" - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Content_Security_Policy on their panorama website? CSP does not like inline javascript or inline style (both are present in the Pano2vr html template) and I am curious how people have dealt with this.

Re: autorotation in Pano2VR v5.2.5
To answer my own question: It seems that the viewer init action has to be set in an empty container. I finally found that info with a forum search, but still have not found any information about where to put the viewer init action in the documentation.

autorotation in Pano2VR v5.2.5
It has been a while since I used autorotation on startup, so I am encountering this only now: Pan Speed 0.05°/Frame; Delay 5.0s; return to horizon 0.1; start after fully loaded. But when the vr tour starts, there is no autorotation. I then tried setting a viewer init - Start Autorotate 0.04/5/1 in t...

Re: setting viewing limits not working
I checked the image size and it still is 8000x4000. I also made a Flash version, just to see what would happen, and there the Max FoV 120 is displayed correctly. So it must be a limitation of html5 panos. The weirdness with setting Min FoV (where it jumps to Initial view FoV when pressing set) remai...

Re: setting viewing limits not working
That was fast :-) I do not think I have ever made anything but spherical panoramas. The problems with setting viewing parameters and min max zoom have plagued me for years, so I assume it is not a bug but user error. But what am I doing wrong..? And where is the mysterious initial FoV of 143.025 (in...

Re: setting viewing limits not working
In both Pano2VR v4 and v5, I keep having trouble setting setting Viewing parameters FoV and Min and Max zoom. When I set Viewing parameter to 120 degrees (as an experiment), when viewing the html5 version I get an FoV of 95 and it does not want to go wider than that. When I type in 20 Min zoom and c...

Re: problems with browser cache to check pano on server
That finally did it! After some more digging, I also found the Safari cache database file on Windows: C:\Users\[your name]\AppData\Local\Apple Computer\Safari\Cache.db I deleted that and now it finally shows the new version of the vr tour. Thanks! For Chrome I have not found a way yet to delete only...

Re: problems with browser cache to check pano on server
On Safari: Developer>Empty Caches. I have also tried to nuke all browser history data. On Chrome: Chrome Button>More Tools>Clear Browsing Data> Advanced> and then I choose Browsing History, Cookies and other site data, and Cached Images. For good measure I then also reboot the browser and still it w...

Re: problems with browser cache to check pano on server
Tony and Hopki, It works for you because it was not cached by your browser yet. But in my case, I have accessed my website many times while rebuilding it, and found out that it is practically impossible to empty the cache in such a case. I have followed all the instructions online to empty the cache...

problems with browser cache to check pano on server
I am getting rid of all references to Flash in my panos, so redoing all of them and uploading new versions to server. I have tried every trick I could find online to empty the cache of Chrome, Firefox, Opera, and Safari (working on Windows 7 PC) I have tried nuking everything, including browser hist...

Re: import mixed formats in Pano2VRv5
Sorry for not being clearer. I am redoing the whole project, but using the same series of panos, some equirects, some cubefaces. When I do this in Pano2vr4 everything works as expected, but when I import cube faces using the "import cubefaces" interface to select the individual cubefaces t...

import mixed formats in Pano2VRv5
I have to reconstruct a tour of which some of the equirects are missing, but I do have the cube faces of the missing panos. Using V5.2.5 Pro, when I try to import the cube faces, it overwrites the last imported equirect. When I do this in Pno2VR v4, the previously imported image does NOT get overwri...
