Hi PhotoSpherix,
I checked out the two links you posted. Very impressive.
The room set / furniture... very big... how are you doing that? Did you put that on a huge turntable? or what? Did you build the turn table? If so, how? It's huge!
thanks a bunch

Flash alternative for Object2VR??
With the growing disenchantment / dislike / move away from Flash, eg: Apple does not support Adobe Flash (and won't), and the growing acceptance of HTML 5. Where does that put Object2VR usefulness as it is a Flash based program. It will not show up on a iPhone, or iPad. With the growth of these devi...

Re: Feature wishlist
I would like to see and have use for a "dissolve " setting. This would allow things like 1) showing the effect of motion between shots, ie: doors opening, drawers moving in and out, parts moving. Also, this would / could reduce the number of images that need to be taken to give fluidity, a...

Re: Lock out viewer controls?
An update on this question: Sent: Thu Sep 02, 2010 10:14 am by thomas I guess the best solution would be the same as in Pano2VR where you have a "disable mouse" and "disable keyboard" option. I will look into this. Maybe I can add it to the next version Thomas said, when I asked ...

Crash on opening saved project or loading images in new porj
Just downloaded beta7, worked fine for first day. Second day, I launched program worked ok for part of the day, then crashed when I went to open a saved project. I got the "loading thumbnails" window and the progress bar went about half way, then app crashed. Tried several times, same resu...

Re: Lock out viewer controls?
Hi Open the skin and put a rectangle that will cover the window, and then set its alpha to 0.010. This will stop the mouse getting to the object. Regards Hopki Hi Hopki, I tried your suggestion. In the skin editor I drew a blank rectangle (using tool) over the grid window. The rectangle was at the ...

Lock out viewer controls?
So much to do...so little time... I've created an object move with an item spinning. I'm using the default skin and have the parameter set to auto rotate. But after outputting when I click anywhere in the movie the auto rotate stops and I can manually rotate the object. I don't want this to happen, ...

Re: Bug list: Object2VR 2.0 beta 7
I just downloaded Beta7, was using 5. Noticed in the Skin Editor > Action/Modifiers tab, it used to open up as a large window showing all the items / drop downs. Now it opens as a small vertical window and each and every time I must click and drag out the box wider to see all the elements inside the...

Re: Auto start?
PhotoSpherix, I followed your excellent instructions and and everything worked as you said except one thing: With the Auto Rotate set to OFF, I found the speed that I set (same speed as when set to auto rotate ) was now much faster than before. It's not adjustable anymore, different values in the bo...

Re: Auto Rotate issue / bug?
Thomas,
as no one else has responded to this question, would you check it out and please reply. I need to know if I'm just doing something wrong and how do I fix the problem. Or is this a software problem that needs attention in the next beta version.
Thanks Thomas

Object2VR Beta3
I see that a new beta3 version is out. A couple of questions before I install it. 1) do we need to remove the old beta2 version first? or move it out of our applications folder. 2) does our current sr# work with the beta 3 version. 3) can we keep and run beta2 with beta3 on our system (just incase t...

Pan button speed setting
In O2VR the pan left / right buttons in the controller spin the object right or left. But how do you control the speed at which it spins. In the skin editor, under the settings for the pan left / right button it shows that you can set the pan button to "pressed" and then an empty box label...
