Re: Output to offline HTML5

The problem is not the output, but the security settings of the browser. If you turn off the security restrictions it would just play fine. You can find the instructions and other possible solutions here https://github.com/daoshengmu/three.js/ ... gs-locally .

Hi Hopki,

the link to the Local Guides Connect Forum doesnt work, I can also not find the thread in the forum. Can you help please?
You need to be a Google trusted photographer to see this forum, but Hopki already posted the content.

Re: Oculus Go / Oculus Browser HTTPS Test

The problem is the "old" three.js library, that uses the previous WebXR draft and crashes. Browsers only expose the WebXR API on https and that is why is still working with a http connection. A quick solution is to replace the three.min.js with the attached patched version that ignores the WebXR int...

Re: Oculus Go / Oculus Browser HTTPS Test

Hello Jade, this is a bug in the three.js version that Pano2VR uses for WebVR, which is caused by the new Oculus Browser. The reason is the new WebXR API interface, but this interface is only exposed to https websites. I am currently working on a solution to this problem, and I hope to have somethin...

Re: Preparing stereo pairs fo rthe Pano2VR input

If they have logical names and you know scripting you could use ImageMagick to do this from the command line.
Another option would be a Photoshop batch job.

For both pages, the URL http://www.burger.si/uvod/nagovor.html is loaded without https (as image?), I guess you have an absolute link somewhere.

Let’s Encrypt doesn’t use your company name or anything. The only validate that you have access to the hosting... As long as you can put a file in a directory you can get a cert.

Re: VR Mode from v. 6.1 beta doesn´t work

SSL certificates are now extremely easy to get via https://letsencrypt.org/ , and they are free! Most hosting companies allow this with just a checkbox. Hetzner (our hoster) even offers DigiCert for free, with just a simple checkbox. You can try our examples: Most of them have VR buttons https://ggn...

Re: Sound broken since iOS 13.2 update

We were hoping that Apple fixes this bug in iOS 13.2, and that's why we only excluded 13.1.3 where they broke the directional sound.
I am currently investigating other workarounds, but Apple clearly has some software quality issues.

If you click on the Gyro button (or Enter VR) we automatically request permission to use the gyroscope. No other changes should be needed.

Re: Hotspot Pan Position Not Same as Node Position

I"m not quite sure why the different values, maybe a coding thing? Looks more like an oversight. For a long time, we accepted values for everything between -360 to +360, but this confused people, so we tried to normalize all values to +/- 180. The only exception is the viewing limits, as there the ...

Re: Point Hotspot Target View Thumbnail

Currently, there is only one thumbnail image per node, and this is generated for the view specified in the thumbnail. The target view is not available as this would potentially require multiple images per node. Maybe we can come up with a solution for the next major release... I added this to the wh...
