Re: New website
Besides Hopkis comments above - I'm on a 1mb line [ Mallorca, in the sticks ] things open ok but for me but the initial size of the pano window seems to be too big and doesn't show the whole picture on screen. [ 19" not too bad on 21" ] how this translates to a laptop at 1366x768 ?

Re: Radar and video skin
I tried using Slideshow Pro and I tried for hours playing with the .xml file but it wouldn't play past the second slide for some reason, so I ended up using Flash SlideShow Maker. That's why it takes so long to open the slideshow as it's trying to load all images at once [4.5mb if I remember ] I've ...

Hiding skin elements in GUI
Hi Thomas I'm finding the hide objects feature sooooo useful in the skin editor, however would it be possible to maintain the menu state after publishing? I.E. every time one goes back to the skin editor all the 'hidden' layers are exposed again....... it would really speed up the process if the men...

Re: New release sound test
For me the sound capabilities have made things so much easier than trying to play with expensive software and the most stupid of things AS3... I spent days trying to put in a controllable sound file when after three minutes of k.ary.n's tute I was up and running .... Thanks k.ary.n :) and Thomas; ke...

Re: New release sound test
HI Texas
It's directional sound for the waves ... and Yep you guessed it, a hotspot with the gull on it to play a sound and change element to on mouse over.
Just had to do it.

New release sound test
I had to try it out, the upgrade works perfect. I especially love the hide objects in the skin editor, makes life soooo much easier.
The sound is fun too and will no doubt be put to good use.
Congratulations

Re: Radar and video skin
I see what you're getting at Smooth Had a bit of a brain ache with this as I'm toggling one against the other already, so the auto rotate stops but starts again when one of the menus are dropped..... no such thing as start rotation / stop rotation so far..... I shall re-evaluate the way I'm doing th...

Re: Radar and video skin
I've up dated the plans and I'm really pleased with them ,........ however I went a little overboard and added a slideshow too, it works but seriously slows the whole thing down on initial loading as I can't seem to make an .xml based slideshow work past the first two images..... any hints anyone?? ...

Radar and video skin
Been working all day on the radar and skin for three story building tour and just as I put it online I realise there's a better way of doing it..... Oh well back to the drawing board. I shall leave it up here anyway and see if you want to comment. Thanks Paul http://www.pmtv2000.com/B...

Re: skin problem - 'jittery' external image
I'm following this with interest as I'm preparing a tour on a three story building and attempting my first radar too...... I did notice Stu that when you click on any one of the markers the auto rotate starts again, intentional of course :) but a strange 'feeling' Good luck with the finished prod......

Re: New Video process
Updated the buffer time to 9secs and went back to my original idea of putting a close video [ stop loading ] button on it so it wouldn't hinder the loading of the panos on 'slow' connections.
Tested in FF 3.0 and IE 7 [ everything is slower in IE tho, as usual..... ]

Re: New Video process
I agree on the Chromatic Aberation still trying to find the best way [ any sugesstions ?? ] The video is a streaming flash vid and works well on a 1mb broadband connection, although I will up the buffer time a couple of more seconds, if you pause it for a second or three to begin with it should be s...
