Re: how can i hide the turntable?
Use a white cover for the turntable and a white backdrop and you can blow most everything out. We have two strobes on our backdrop and two on the turntable and that works great for us. If the turntable edges disappear when you fill the frame with the object it's helpful, but not necessary. For a whi...

Re: Color and Zoom Questions
I found an article on Flash and color correction which makes me think the problem is Flash. http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flash/quickstart/color_correction_as3/ It appears that Flash ignores profiles other than sRGB without doing some work in Flash. Since Object2VR converts to Flash I am assuming it u...

Re: Color and Zoom Questions
I've made the same switch myself, and I've found Object2VR to give much higher quality zooms in Flash than in Quicktime. What is the size of the images you are inputting into the software?

Re: Automating creation of project files
Here's what I mentioned You can run Object2VR in command line mode. Just call it with object2vr.exe -x project.o2vr The result is the same as loading the project and pressing "export all". At the moment there is no documentation of the o2vr file format (it is just an XML file...) but it sh...

Automating creation of project files
Replying to another post reminded me of a question I have been wondering about. There was a post a while back discussing generating xml files and running them through Object2VR without the GUI. If you open up the project file with a text editor you'll see that it simply points to the image files and...

Re: Light Table Import.
Sometimes the finder in Mac OS will sort files in unintuitive ways, open up a bunch of files to Photoshop and you'll see the same sort of general effect. The easiest workaround is to move the files from column view. See if it sorts differently with icon, column and list view. If that isn't the case ...

Re: Multirow ObjectVR - but how?
So simple, I like it. I was hoping to not have to run around with a tape measure and a piece of paper.

Re: Launching without GUI
What are you doing with that many images? Could you post an XML template that others can use, or does it need to be made each time?

Re: Multirow ObjectVR - but how?
How would you make the measurements to determine the angle and distance to the camera if you are using a normal tripod? One idea I had was to make a custom stand that would mount three cameras, one for each row. Basically there would be an angled vertical arm with horizontal mounts for the cameras. ...

Re: Equipement for do objectVR
http://www.kaidan.com/ http://www.ortery.com/ If you are on a budget, a DIY project would be the best idea, this guy used legos http://www.philohome.com/turntable/turntable.htm If you don't have a high workload in vr movies I would recommend a DIY project. I had a terrible experience using the Kaida...

Re: embedding in pdf
Got myself a trial of Acrobat 9 Pro, and it is really easy to do, you can create a PDF straight from the .swf file. I used the Flash 9 output from Object2Vr. Check it out! You need Acrobat Reader 9 to view it. These shots were taken using a Kaidan rig using VrWorx with a DV camera for automated capt...

Re: Batch
I have the same question, except for a mac. Of course, I won't complain if anyone can volunteer the Window's solution :) Photoshop can easily get the photos to uniform size etc. for me, but how would you automate the creation of a large amount of movies (several hundred) with the same settings. I'm ...

Re: flash zoom in object vr
Tried a few keys and it looks like it is shift on a mac. I thought the solution would be to modify the skin so I posted it under skins, sorry about that. I am glad the solution is much easier than I assumed.
