I did some research and found another good document at: http://developer.apple.com/documentation/QuickTime/Conceptual/QTScripting_JavaScript/index.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/TP40001526 Basically it looks like the javascript calls to get and set the properties are: float GetPanAngle() void SetPanAngle(...

How to determine the QTVR rotation angle?
I want to build an html interface to display my QTVR files and have a flash animation that shows a "radar" to indicate the direction the user is currently viewing, just like the Flash example. The reason I want to use QTVR .mov files is because the Flash versions are very clunky and don't ...

Part of the problem is if you look at the source code, the Flash object is specifying it needs Flash version 6.0.29. With the Flash panos, they must have at least version 8 player. You're correct, the way they've embeded the object will automatically try to update IE and Netscape, but only if they h...

Ooops, I didn't test it in FF, guess I've got a little de-bugging to do. I've been trying to figure out what the best workflow for resolution and file size is. My original tiff is 10000X5000 and I used Hugin to stitch it with the spline 64 interpolator. After tweaking the tiff in Photoshop for some ...

So what did it turn out to be?
I like the quality of the QuickTime files better, they pan smoother, but I do a lot of work in Flash and it gives me more options for interactivity.
I did a pano in the avionics compartment of a Boeing 767 yesterday.

Thanks Thomas! After studying your example source files, I figured out that by specifying the window_height and width, the movie will cover up the red square, then all I need to do is create my own mask to cover up the jagged edges of the pano movies. Knowing the name for the object used in the &quo...

Object Flash Movie Problems
I've created an object movie in flash with a controller. It works fine by itself. However, I'm importing it into a full flash website by attaching the swf to another larger movieclip. The problem is there is a small red box that appears above the object movie and the controller is positioned waaaay ...
