Re: Preloader image is added as Object VR 'frame'

Thanks for the reply Thomas,

The swf is 7mb in size. Can I zip it and send it to your regular contact email?

Preloader image is added as Object VR 'frame'

Hi, Come across a real odd one here. I am making Object VRs for people but want to include my small business logo within the preloader. Did the same thing ages ago when using Pano2QTVR Flash for panorama virtual tours with no problems. Now that I use it for the Object VRs, while rotating the object ...

Thanks for the reply Thomas Atleast I now know it's not my versions of windows messing me around :) I did find a post that mentioned converting the image into cube faces and adding hotspots that way. It did work but the conversion took forever and 8 of my hotspots over lapped into separate cube face...

‘can't allocate the DIB handle’, - help please

I was hoping to get some help with the hotspot feature on Pano2QTVR (1.6.6 pro Flash) I keep getting a pop up window with ‘can't allocate the DIB handle’ on when I tick the ‘Hotspots enabled’ box. The Equirectangular image is created on which I would normally draw the actual hotspot but then...

Thanks for the reply Thomas and aplologies for the question regarding the slower Auto rotate speed  Got it rotating at 0.3 and looks great. The controller combined with the panorama swf is good news with a future release of Pano2VR. I struggle to keep them together with the scripting on my joo...

Possible to auto rotate slower than number 1?

Hi, I was really hoping to be able to set the Flash Auto rotate to a slower setting but realized number 1 was the slowest. It belts it round! A nice gentle rotation would be ideal at the equivalent of around .4 Any chance of that if I play with some code somewhere in version 1.6.2 pro flash?...

Very nice Ninoslav. I have a free postcard script currently on the go but yours looks a whole lot more interesting. I'll keep an eye on this thread and see where it goes. All the best Andrew **** I just wanted to add: On the page where the user previews the Virtual card, would there be any way to ad...

I see. For some reason I thought the import of the image strip was standard on Pano2QTVR. I tried it with the individual 6 images and that worked good but was obviously away with the fairys on the strip idea  Thanks anyway for the reply Smooth and hope your enjoyng the heat over there. I'd like to get in on this post also. I now have a strip (1x6) of cube faces that were extracted from a quicktime movie (mine). I don't really understand how to use the strip to make the new quicktime movie instead of using my normal equirectangular image? I've tried many methods and just get out of...

I love Sundays :-)

It's all down to that Flash Detection package from the Adobe website. I zipped the detection files here if you want them. http://www.virtualkingston.ca/flash_detection.zip Unzip them and then upload the assets folder and the AC_OETags.js to your root directory. Open the index.html in Dreamweaver or ...

You know what, sod it. I'm going to go with flash AND quicktime. I've spent that much time messing around with the new Flash 8 viewer and trying ways to prompt people to upgrade from 6 & 7, I reckon having the Quicktime there will actually help me out. I'll keep hold of the qmov2jpg.exe th...

Thanks for that Smooth, I downloaded the free qmov2jpg.exe and then drag and dropped my .mov in it. It filled my C:\Documents and Settings\Andrew folder with 107 images! Half are 32 X 32 and the other half is 251 X 251. It will be like putting a massive jigsaw puzzle back together. Do you know if th...
