Re: Your photo gear?

Hi, Sometimes it is good to find out what other people are using as camera setups can be expensive. I use Nikon D90 with the 10.5 fisheye lens as I read good reviews of it. Home made head - very cheap and easy - just aluminium angle and builders spirit levels. I am extremely happy with results. 6 ph...

Re: ANZAC WW1 Battlefield Panos

Newfoundland Park is actually a Canadian Memorial to British and Newfoundland soldiers, but it was such a great place to visit that i had to include it and do it first.

ANZAC WW1 Battlefield Panos

Hi, I have started to create panoramas of ANZAC battlefields of WW1. So far I have completed Newfoundland Memorial Park (France) 12 panos, and Polygon Wood (Belgium) and Menin Gate (Belgium). These are just as they were on the day and have not been photoshopped or anything. I have lots to do and can...

Re: Optimum Output Size

Thanks. Which has the greatest effect on final quality and size, the initial image size, format or the flash settings. I presume that pano2vr change the input image to fit your flash settings. Also I would like to have a size around 500kb so that it is accessible to viewers that have slower internet...

Re: what software do u use for stitching

I have found Hugin the easiest, cheapest (open source) and best. Photovista 1 also works well but is no longer sold. (Nikon D90 with 10.5 fisheye)

Optimum Output Size

Is there an optimum output size for the final images that will display clearly on computer screens but also download quickly? Is there any advantage in resizing the input images or does Pano2vr do all this? Does Pano2vr also compress the images?

Re: How to purchase Software??

Thank you to everyone for your help with this, the issue has now been resolved. My apologies as the issues were all my fault. My email's spam filter has blocked all of Thomas' replies and I have no way of checking spam. It must have been frustrating for him as well as we could not communicate. Thank...

Re: How to purchase Software??

Hi
This is very frustrating having to reply to myself. The rest of you must have purchased software. How did you do it? How can one get in contact with the software owner to resolve paying for the software and not receiving it. Does anyone have any ideas?

How to purchase Software??

Hi, I want to purchase a copy or rego number for Pano2VR. I followed the links and paid for it using PayPal, and the money was deducted from my account. This was on 6th Jan. I have still not heard from Gardengnomesoftware in spite of sending 2 emails to support. How does one get in contact or get a ...
