Re: Image Sequence Pattern (Object2VR)

This one got me thinking a little. I started playing with the tile option thinking that I could finally make Object2vr pad the numbers with a 0 so that I could name the images the same way that I want image sequences are named. SKU_001.jpg SKU_002.jpg instead of img_0_0_1.jpg img_0_0_2.jpg But I did...

Workflow Automation

For those that might have interest, I have written a post about using Automation on our workstation to make it possible to create animated GIFs and MP4s from the finished files out of Object2vr. We are using Automator, Applescript, and Linux to perform this function, but you might see a way to creat...

Command + N

Strange behavior from time to time and I think I can replicate it. On a Mac. Has been on multiple OS versions and multiple Object2vr versions. If I open Object2vr, and I build a new 360 by adding images to the Light Table. Then save the project and create a 360. The New(Command +N) or the option in ...

Re: reverse mouse direction for all view states

A work around for this issue is use the "Invert Order" inside of the light table. This will change the order of the images instead of the rotation on the 360. Select the images in the light table, then right click and choose "Invert Order"

Just a thought.

Turntable QS Files

I am working on another turntable QS file and I was hoping that someone has some notes on the possible functions. I have basic control of a new turntable, but I would like to make it work much better. Just a little programming notes would help greatly. I have had to make this work based on the previ...

Re: control scrolling with position on the page

I did not get an answer so I went to work. You will need jquery on the page, then add the following code below the container that show the 360 view. I have built it only for the html5 display. It is not perfect, but it seems to be close. If I was changing it, I would find a better way to get the num...

control scrolling with position on the page

Has anyone controlled the rotation of a 360 in Object2vr with an external javascript, and then changed the rotation based on scrolling of the page.

IE As the page scrolls down, scroll left on the 360, as the page scrolls up, scroll right?

I got the meta data from here https://developers.google.com/streetview/spherical-metadata#example_of_a_full_photo_sphere I then opened photoshop, went to file info on an existing pano. Exported the exif data. Opened the exif data with a text editor. add the example exif from the above link near the ...

Re: Cardboard with object2VR: is possible?

The issue that we have had with a single point 360 that is displayed in the vr headgear, (and remember that the user interface still has to be a mouse) is that it is FLAT and does not show the depth of the object in the rotation. That is why we stared working towards the true 3d view first. I have f...

I wrap it in an outer div that centers, then shows the 360 container inside.

Re: Color Changes on Products

The Forester example uses "reel" as the 360 player. The way that it handles assets is a little bit different than Object2vr. In all reality, they are loading the view the same way that I am suggesting. When you click on one of the links on the right, it is changing and then loading the image set sep...

Re: Color Changes on Products

Svendus, I agree, it is a great way to show the colors and types, but it is the overhead of loading all of the images that I do not like about doing it that way. It makes the 360 way to big, I might think about having the navigation in the skin and then have each of the 360's separate. This way it d...

Color Changes on Products

Here is the first stage of a project we are working on. Shoot 54 items and then do 8 way color changes on them.

Color Changing 360's

At some point, I will compile them into the 54 items and have color buttons, but not yet.
