Hi everyone,
I’ve developed a tool that might be useful for those who need to quickly correct or update hotspot titles and descriptions in a tour that is already published on a client's server.
Instead of re-opening Pano2VR and re-uploading the entire project, you can simply place a single file in ...

Re: Showcase: Customized Feather Orb Skin with Intro
Hi Martin,
Thank you for taking the time to explain the underlying logic. It’s clear now that your method is much more optimized, and as a skin creator, the responsibility for performance lies with me.
To be honest, that’s a bit disappointing to hear. I had an idea to create a highly versatile ...

Re: Showcase: Customized Feather Orb Skin with Intro
So you need to cross dissolve going in and coming back out.
Hi Martin,
I’ve looked at your project—it’s brilliant! Thank you for sharing such a clear example. I never realized that transition settings could be controlled directly within the skin's actions. I’ve definitely had projects where I ...

Re: VR Mode Bug: Hand tracking pinch gesture triggers top menu (Venis_VR skin)
Single pinch to activate buttons, hotspots etc, then double pinch to show and hide the menu.
Thank you for the clarification! I’ve tested it again, and you’re right—it has nothing to do with the video playback. It was just a coincidence that I was performing a 'double pinch' while interacting ...

Hi Martin,
Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to look at my project!
I haven't heard of HandBrake before, but I will definitely look into it—thanks for the tip! Honestly, I don't remember which software I used for that specific video. My usual "lifehack" for maximum compression ...

Re: Image blur/sharpness drop at the bottom of the field of view on Meta Quest 3
Friends, I think you are talking about completely different things.
First of all, this is not my project. It is a tour provided by the Pano2VR developers themselves on this page: https://ggnome.com/pano2vr/. I used it as an example specifically because the image is very sharp, which makes the blur ...

Hello! Since you have a headset, could you please check this issue in immersive mode: viewtopic.php?t=18034 and let me know in that thread if you can confirm my findings? Thanks!

Re: 3D Gaussian pixel mush
And of course more ready made modern looking skins. I try to improve the skins in my tours since two weeks now and have to invent solutions by myself (which is somehow fun because I do it not for a living). But generally skins (and more functions) would be a great selling point.
While I have ...

Re: VR Mode Bug: Hand tracking pinch gesture triggers top menu (Venis_VR skin)
Videos play and pause on pinch… no glitch here.
My apologies, I forgot that in the version 8 project, I had already updated the skin to forcibly hide the menu. However, this doesn't fix the bug; it only masks it. I have now reverted the changes so the bug is visible again.
I’ve recorded a new ...

Hi everyone,
I’ve decided to share one of my recent projects with the community.
Link to the tour: https://electri4ka.ua/tour/premium/
While the panoramas themselves are straightforward, I’d like to draw your attention to the skin. It is based on the standard feather_orb.ggsk, but I have heavily ...

Of course! I’ve attached a video, the topic is literally titled 'VR', and I’m specifically discussing controllers and gesture control... so I’m not sure what point you are trying to make? )))Andre_J wrote: Wed Jan 07, 2026 5:36 pm You mean this work with a Meta Quest helmet in immersive (VR) mode?

Re: VR Mode Bug: Hand tracking pinch gesture triggers top menu (Venis_VR skin)
To be honest, I’m not quite sure what you mean. Video works perfectly in VR mode in tours created with Pano2VR 8. You can see this for yourself in the video from my first post—you can tell by the hands that the tour was made in version 8.

I tested your recommendation and changed "Mouse Click" to "Pressed". However, then the video doesn't pause either with the joystick or with gestures. And the menu continues to appear)

Re: Which software was used for this virtual tour
The client can probably exchange hotspot texts himself via CMS and maintain the content of the tour.
Hi Heiko,
It’s always unfortunate to lose a client, but as Hopki mentioned, Pano2VR is incredibly flexible. Everything you felt was missing to keep that client can definitely be implemented in ...

Re: Using whole Panorama Canvas as a close button
What is the point of the panorama if any click on it causes it to close? This means the user won't be able to interact with it at all. Is that really the intended behavior?Hughi wrote: Mon Jan 05, 2026 1:30 pm I have a question about using the whole panorama canvas as a close button?
