Re: WWP Forgotten Places - Abandoned Railway Bridge.

Hi, Glad you liked it. You have better equipment than me so should be able to get better results than me! I use a Nikon D70 which is only 6 MegaPixel compared with your 12 MegaPixel camera, I also use a Nodal Ninja adaptor same as you. My lens for 360s is always the Nikor 10.5mm lens and I always us...

Re: posting qtvrs on facebook

I have just made a video for YouTube in which I have used Pano2Movie quite a bit. I first created my QTVR's using Pano2VR then used Pano2Movie to record and create my movement sequences, I then imported these into Sony Vegas 9 Pro. My complete video uses about 90% footage made using Pano2Movie, I ha...

WWP Forgotten Places - Abandoned Railway Bridge.

The latest World Wide Panorama event has just closed and here is my entry for Forgotten Places which I hope will make it in the final list: Its a local abandoned Railway bridge that last saw a train in May 1968. As you can see I have also posted a photograph of how it looked in 1958, see how nature ...

Re: Heage Windmill VR Tour, practical example of a useful tour.

One thing that was noticed when watching people use the tour in its "normal mode" was that people were clicking and then moving the mouse to the far edge of the screen, of couse when you do that the view rotates wildly out of control until you let go. This was one of the reasons for me cha...

Re: Heage Windmill VR Tour, practical example of a useful tour.

Hi This looks really nice. However I notice that the controls seem inverted to the usual manner: eg if you click and drag left on the panorama, it actually moves right.cheers Hi, Yes the "usual manner" is only something that us regular panorama people know as "normal" after year...

Re: Mousewheel still backwards...

Yes me too please :D

This will help by me not having to explain to people that "the zooming method is the opposite way to Google Streetview"

Having it as an option in the Pano2Vr project seems like a good idea as you can then keep it backwards mode if you prefer it that way.

Thanks.

Re: unexplained steam

Thats a bit strange. I could not see the line on the .mov provided even when fully zoomed in on that area. I can see it on your swf version. Can you supply the project file and pano (or at least a reduced resolution version that DOES show the problem when you make the .mov with it). Do you get this ...

Re: Fullscreen not working

Hi Floris, It would be best if you could supply a link to a live version on the web rather than the html code. But the code you have supplied DOES work, I have just copied your code and saved it as a html file and substituted 'underbridgelantau.swf' for one of my panos and the fullscreen button work...

Re: Fullscreen not working

Hi, Assuming you have selected the Fullscreen html template it should work ok.
Are you able to supply us with a weblink to your problem page so we can look please?, This will make it much quicker to diagnose your problem.

Re: How to keep camera position when switching from one to anoth

Like the two examples. Great job. Laughed at the two dogs ! There is no need for %ht as thats for passing over the text from a hospot target point, the method I described does not use hotspots at all. Hotpsots would stick to the image and move around with it ,which is not what we want in this case. ...

Re: World Wide Panorama Event 03/09 "Diversity"

Hi Sotero, I had a look at your WWP entry, looks very scary, looks like you have put your life at risk to walk along to that narrow area to make your 360. How did you manage to take that? You have not put a description for your panorama so not quite sure what it is, Looks like its an old Aquaduct or...

Re: How to keep camera position when switching from one to anoth

Hi Stu, Yes its the new Cathedral Green in front of the Silk Mill Museum. As per my last entry on the World Wide Panorama website The last WWP event has just gone live on Sunday. I have attached the skin I used to make my night and day then and now panorama. It pretty basic stuff but should give you...

Re: How to keep camera position when switching from one to anoth

Hi Stu, I had a go at doing this at the weekend using two panoramas one taken during the day and the other at night. How I did it was to make a skin and place two "button images" labelled Day and one for night. the action for these was open next panorama , url was the relevant .swf file fo...

Re: User Skin file location probem, moving & backing up issues.

If anyone else has this problem with their user created skins then you can use the "replace in files" option in UltraEdit to edit all your p2vr project files to reflect the new location. This is not perfect but it gets around this problem. To do this use... Search for <skinfile>S:/My VR To...
