Chrome developer tools say that the pre-loading of the thumbnails, such as "thumbnail_image_node263.jpg" is the culprit. As we don't show preview thumbs of the tour nodes, is there a way to disable this feature and/or to load the thumbs on demand?

I should add that our 3D distorted icons consist of two image layers (background and foreground icon). The background layer is also rotating (via CSS). Both layers are scaled with "Appearance" upon hover.

Not sure if these are required criteria to reproduce the "bug".

Okay, I figured it out. For anyone else stumbling upon this: You literally only need to select "forward" from the "Target View" pull-down menu. That's it.
