Re: pano2vr7 b3 - broken on Linux + Wine

Pano2VR v6 ran on Linux (there was even an official package), which is why I purchased the software. When the initial Pano2VR v7 betas came out (1&2), I tested them, and because I had no issues, I upgraded to V7. Sadly, from Pano2VR v7 beta 3, Gnome changed the GUI framework, and for the next ye...

Discounted Pano2VR 7 license for sale

Due to the closure of my business, I have a Pano2VR 7 license available for sale. I'm selling the license at a discounted price of £410 - a saving of £55 (As of July '23, the current Pano2VR 7 retail price would be approximately £465 inc. VAT in the UK) I've checked with the guys at Garden Gnome and...

Re: spin quality

Thanks Hopki. I naively thought the larger TIFF would create better quality tiles for multi resolution images. As typically I don't plan to perform any adjustments after the stitcher, and I'm getting the same quality experience from the output - I'll start using jpgs, as the storage is much less and...

spin quality

Hi there, I use a Lumix G3 (16mp), with a fisheye lens to capture my 360s. After processing into HDR with photomatix, they're stitched into a pano with ptgui Previously, I've been outputting to a 8bit, packed, TIFF from ptgui, resulting in a 290mb file. As an experiment, instead, I output a 20mb JPG...

Re: Floor plan - autoswitch

Hi Hopki, That's the approach I used in the end - I was just wondering if a 'hidden' placeholder was available to e.g $(fp) - current floorplan name, Access to floor plan information feels a little manual. May be If floorplans worked with the cloner, it would make the process much easier. E.g. dynam...

Floor plan - autoswitch

Hi there,

If a floor plan component is configured to "auto-switch", is there a way to display the name of the currently selected / active floor plan? Is a placeholder variable available to reference?

Many thanks,
Marc

Cloner - order of collasping nodes

Hi there, Is it possible to change how the cloner collapses nodes? Please see the short attached video. demo-video.mp4 I have a category and sub-node structure, contained within a scroll area. Currently, when a category is clicked on: the nodes in the clicked category are first populated and expande...

Re: Cloner - action on current node ?

It's been bugging me for a couple of hours, but finally worked it out. Logic blocks on mnu-node__text, just need to test for "State->Active = True" - ie. is this node currently active.

Cheers

Cloner - action on current node ?

Hi there, I've created a menu, based on the accordion thumbnail menu (from the Toolbox) - but with the images removed. The basic set up is: cloner.jpg I cannot work out how to change the appearance of "mnu-node__text", when that node is currently being shown (either by being clicked on, or...

Re: Colour Tool - exposed colours - order

Excellent - worked a treat, thanks Tony. I haven't worked directly with the 'skin.xml' file before, so that's a new avenue to explore the next time I get stuck!

Appreciate the help,
Marc

Colour Tool - exposed colours - order

Hi there, Once a bunch of colours has been exposed, is there a way to re-order the exposed entries in the "Edit Skin Configuration" dialogue ? I've tried changing the order in the *.p2vr file ("skincolorsconfiguration" tag), but it didn't appear to make a difference. Another quic...

tool tip on images

Hi there, Would it be possible to add a "title" property to image elements? This would allow the easy introduction of tooltips, which would be especially helpful for the control panels ( full-screen, exit full-screen etc). CSS could also be used to easily style the tooltips, making this ve...

Re: resize rectangle

Hi Hopki, As I'm now using just the textbox (no rectangle as a container) I've run into another small problem: info2.jpg When the icon is clicked, I'd like the textbox to be transitioned off the screen (slid right). However, as textbox set to autosize, I do not know it's width and therefore cannot s...

Re: resize rectangle

Hi Hopki, Sorry, you're right, I had contained several text boxes within a rectangle ... but all I had to do was add ALL the text into a single textbox and format with CSS. The textbox now set to autosize and styled via the editor. Apologies, had a bit of a break from Pano 2VR and just refreshing my...

Re: Node menu - like a mobile

Hi Tony, I didn't realise your menu was based on an existing component. So you're essentially stripping out thumbnails from the accordion menu and adding a few tweaks. The image from your project didn't look list the accordion component, so it didn't occur to me. I'll take a look at the accordion co...
