What files to update in a package

I am using VRtourViewer on a Pico. A project with about 200 panoramas takes a long time to load and often the goggle loses connection, even in developer mode. But, they are finally loaded, about a two hour task. Then, I noticed that some of my hotspots are linked to the wrong panoramas. Is there a l...

Re: Panoramas black on Samsung S22 Ultra

Were any of the polygon hotspots three sided only? I believe this is an issue in general, and has strange side effects in VR.

Re: Left "eye" distortion in stereo panoramas

Hello Hopki, Thanks for the quick response. To give stereo a try, I used a "cardboard" phone holder running VRtourViewer per ggnome recommendation. I like that software as it works great with polygons in VR and stereo, except the controller is not reliable to act the same each time. Normal...

Left "eye" distortion in stereo panoramas

Has anyone run into this issue? When using a stereo panorama, either an over/under equirectangular, or a 12 face cube in a strip, there is a noticeable spherical distortion in the left image when viewed in VR. Both panoramas are from the same scene and they are perfectly vertical, being generated in...

Determinging Panorama Input "Type"

Can anyone help with determining how to use this image in Pano2VR? It is a L/R stereo image two up. LR_Center.jpg I have tried all Type in Properties - Panorama in Pano2VR. No option (Auto, Equirect, Cube Faces, Cylindrical, Flat, Strip, Strip VR, Cross, Tee, or QT) seems to help Pano2VR present thi...

Re: View tour properly inside Oculus Quest headset

Hi, If I understood your steps, in Photoshop you tried to change the true viewer position to create a stereo from a equirectangular panorama, emulating a second view point. It is certainly possible, but I can't detect much parallax from your two photos in either pair. Usually the two camera lenses f...

Stereo Panorama Formats...pros and cons

Hello All, Do you know what are the advantages and drawbacks of various pano formats, equitrectangular or cube (strip, tee, cross, etc.) When generating panos from a model, the above formats are available. I can't generate cylindrical, full or partial, or spherical panos, but, perhaps those would be...

Replacing all nodes in a Map/Floor Plan

Hi, UPDATE: I had posted a question about substituting new nodes for original ones in a floor plan using MAP setup. It works fine. I had transposed letters in the second batch. Corrected that and it is very nice to be able to replace nearly 200 nodes and not having to re-link them. It was about a pr...

Re: VR: generating node images unnecessarily

Hi, I run into the recalculation issue only when I forget and start with an output folder on a local server (NAS). In such cases, very often Pano2VR recalculates every time I hit the output button. Could it be that you have placed the output folder on a network device, or somewhere that the time for...

Updating Projects Uploaded to ggnome Cloud

Hi, UPDATE: In our last project, Dec 15 2022, an existing Pao2VR cloud based project updated without having to delete the original from the cloud. Thank you Gnomes. I have been using the ggnome cloud for just a few weeks. Not sure if I have some parameter not set properly, but when I update anything...

Is there a page still available for new feature requests?

I have a few mundane but very useful items I wish to suggest and open for comments. Please leave a note as to where such posts can be made.

Thanks,

Re: Delayed Pop-ups

Thanks for the prompt response Hopki. Attached is a test version of what I was trying to accomplish. Which was to let users who are familiar with the tools or the location of the nodes not be interrupted by distracting text popping up. Not familiar with details of timers, I figures as soon as their ...

Delayed Pop-ups

Hello All, I have been searching a way to implement a delay for pop-up text, such as tooltips and node maker info in Maps and Floor Plans. I have dabbled in using a timer with little success. That was trying to set a timer's value when hovering over a node marker. Then making the pop-up dependent on...

Re: Remembering the last node visited on each floor

Thank you very much Tony,

This sounds straight forward when you know all the settings and what they do. I will try to add them to my work. Hope it will work as smoothly.

Best,
