randomize hotspot position
Hi, I wanted to use a timer to randomly set the position of a hotspot, but not sure which placeholders to use and how to control them. I am guessing I can set timer action on Activate/Deactivate to Set Value of the hotspot's $hat and $hap, but not sure how to put them together. Set Value might be a ...

Re: patch and pinned video when updating pano image
Trying to answer my own question, I think I found a way to achieve this. I just have to create a new patch and copy the position (Pan, Tilt, FoV) from the existing pinned video. That will place the new patch into exact same location and I can re-extract. Only problem is if I didn't use the default a...

patch and pinned video when updating pano image
I have a lot of patches converted to pinned video. Now that I need to update/change the panorama image, all of these pinned videos will become irrelevant and I need to redo the process. Is there any way to extract a patch from exact position of the pinned video? This would give me a new patch based ...

Re: transition effect
hi Martin, Thanks for your reply. I am sure we can play around with the zooming in/out and the FoV. What puzzled me is how they maintain the angle (point of view) before and after approaching the next node. If you click a hotspot while looking at it from side-view, you will arrive to the node also s...

Re: transition effect
Actually that was not my project, and I assumed it's not created with Pano2VR. Just wonder if there's a way to achieve that movement with Pano2VR.

transition effect
Hi, I've been playing around with transition effects in Pano2VR but cannot seem to get the effect I like to see. "Before: Zoom In" and "After: Zoom In" are ideal when the entry point to the next scene is in the center of our current point of view. I am hoping to see the transitio...

Re: youtube autoplay
Hi Martin, When embedding, the autoplay parameter will only work if we also specify mute parameter, hence the video will auto start without sound. This iframe below will auto start the video (muted): <iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/7w8fgCMRkKo?autoplay=1&mute=1"></iframe> Bu...

youtube autoplay
When a hotspot is created with type=Video and source=Youtube, and you specify the youtube URL under "Link Target URL, the video will autoplay with audio. The way the video pop up and stay on same screen, it's as if it was an iframe. But if it's a normal iframe with embedded youtube video, Youtu...

embed Zoom meeting
I wonder if there's any trick to embed Zoom meeting window the way we embed youtube videos. So when clicking on a hotspot it will pop up a window and load the Zoom meeting into it without opening new window/tab. I understand Zoom doesn't allow embedding, and above may only be possible using the Zoom...

Re: play/pause pinned video
thanks for the answer Hopki. The Media action is what I need, just like what benu pointed out at the other thread. A quick question, I can hide the pinned media at start using the action source "Config Loaded". Any recommendation where would be the best place to put this action? At the mom...

Re: control visibility of pinned image
hey benu. that's it! The Visibility Media is what I need. I read about it somewhere but was just too blind to find it in the action list. That just made me more of a fool, I'll leave you out of that haha. (even better we can do transition with the Visibility Media, just accomplished the goal). Thank...

play/pause pinned video
Any tricks to:
1. play/pause a pinned video with a hotspot button
2.hide the pinned video until it is played. that way it doesn't make the whole area of the video clickable. Quite annoying when you have other hotspots on that area.
thanks.

Re: control visibility of pinned image
Hi benu, thanks for the advice. You were totally right about hotspot being the key. Instead of converting the pinned image to hotspot, I ended up using a point hotspot altogether. Yes, the challenge is make sure hotspot image snapped into position during the 3D distortion. Another alternative is to ...
