Re: Improvement tips

Just curios ... which panoramas were taken with the Insta360 camera... and what Insta360 lens settings did you use ??? Like "priority" and ISO settings.

Yes we have a Insta360 one....but the settings might be similar.

And DNG to 16bit TIFF file type is a great work flow...

Re: Improvement tips

Hi Neal, I have to say that I am not real happy with how my panos look. I don't know if it is the camera, shooting method, processing, or the setup in Pano2VR. But they just don't look right. A lot of polite questions for later but here are few constructive comments: Good job on the lighting. We usu...

Re: Refreshing Images

I remember doing this along time ago. Maybe its changed now but: When you bring your original image into the Tour.... Pano2vr records the original image node name(s).xxx. So the next time you open it will know all the image names in the tour. Lets say you decide to edit node x or simply replace node...

Re: Image Sharpness Setting Option? Bring Back Moire?

I do not think I was referencing your SVG vector graphic panorama work. Neal's links here: https://www.frontify.com/en/blog/are-you-using-correct-color-codes/ https://www.color-management-guide.com/assign-icc-profile.html#:~:text=In%20a%20photo%2C%20the%20assignment%20of%20an%20ICC,absolute%20value%...

Re: Image Sharpness Setting Option? Bring Back Moire?

This is what I wrote - full text quotation with added emphasis. All I wrote was that the numbers were the same. I did not agree with your work because of questioning the capture programs apparent issues. Please revisit Neals comment about capture programs known issues. Interesting observations Yes I...

Re: Image Sharpness Setting Option? Bring Back Moire?

Branigan wrote confirming for you in RGB numbers what my eyes can see. RGB numbers are objective arithmetic values what my eyes can see are quite subjective. What your eyes can see might be quite different than what my eyes can see... keeping in mind that about 20 years ago I did have my cataract is...

Re: Image Sharpness Setting Option? Bring Back Moire?

Interesting observations Yes I did use a program called "Pixie" and did find that the "your image sample" did result in Original RGB Black as 0,0,0 White 255 x RGB. Screen capture "pixie" did produce Black 15,15,15 White 235 RGB That begs the question... Is this an issue for the screen capture not r...

Re: Image Sharpness Setting Option? Bring Back Moire?

Thank you Neal.

first example is an .svg which I suspect is the best smooth curves. .svg is the file type I found when saving it to my harddrive.
2nd example is a bitmap .png which explains the image red line stair step edges ... smaller the stair step pixel edges the smoother the line appears.
