Re: Is this a viable business?
thanks 360, a lot of the companies ive been looking at seem to include this service into their range of services, but then ive also seen companies that just specialise in panorama photography. Im sure there must be some money in it if you offer quality and find a niche market (such as estate agents ...

Is this a viable business?
Hi, Ive been looking a lot into developing panoramas as a business. I have a lot of experience with the web and flash, so I think I could build some quite nice interfaces. Im guessing a lot of people on this forum have businesses that deal specifically with taking panoramas for the web. My question ...

Re: how to build radar navigation?
hi thomas, I have got flash CS3. It looks like the plan is being generated by actionscript. is that right? I was just wondering if there would be an easier way. maybe have a graphical floor plan that i can position markers on. Ild need to know how each 'marker' works (knows which direction the viewe...

Re: Tokyo Odaiba Panorama Walk
hi, i really like your work. well done. 2 questions: - when you look down, you see your logo. it doesnt rotate with the photo - how did you do this? - when you click on a hot spot, it zooms in and fades. how did you do that? is this functionality within pano2vr or are you embedding it in your own fl...

what tripod to get?
Hi, I have a canon 350D and am using a canon 15mm fisheye lens. I have a really crappy tripod. When Im stitching my photos in photoshop they come out all weird, and Ive come to the conclusion that its because the camera is not rotating around its central point. Ive tried flipping the camera portrait...

i see what you mean. no, i dont want to resell the software. i just want to be able to offer virtual tours to my clients, but I dont want them to see that its pano2vr (I notice if you right click on a tour it say 'about pano2vr player', can i disable this menu?) because they might just say 'we'll bu...

Re: beginner - taking the photos
thanks 360texas, i have a canon 300D with the standard 18-55. i want to stick with this camera for now (until i get better and start offering these panoramas to clients). so if i take 360 horizontal view and 1 up shot (and/or 1 down shot) and stitch them all together, i should end up with a stitched...
