Patches become "dead" areas in a panorama
Hi, When I add a patch to a panorama, for example, to open and close a door, then the patch area cannot be swiped on (when on mobile) or cannot be dragged with your mouse to move around the panorama. When such a door takes up a large part of the screen then this can very much influence the user expe...

Re: Which turntable to buy?
Hi Hopki,
Thanks for clearing that up.
If I buy a turntable that's not in the supported by Object2VR list, will I still be able to use it with Object2VR or will it take a very long to create a single 3D object?
Cheers,
Roland

Re: Which turntable to buy?
Hi Hopki,
At first I will buy a table that is suitable for shooting small objects such as shoes and mobile phones.
Not sure about the number of columns. What do you suggest in case I would like to include the top and bottom view of the product as well?
Cheers,
Roland

Which turntable to buy?
Hi, I'm new to Object2VR and would like to buy a turntable to start creating 3D models. I just went through the supported turntables list at: https://ggnome.com/object2vr-turntables/ Being based in China, I couldn't find any of these brands so I'm looking into other options. Will turntables that are...

Re: Graphical User Config / CMS
Thanks a lot Tony, will check out the webinar you mentioned. I have already worked with the JavaScript API.
So I assume that no 3rd party (or any other) solution exists to provide client admins with some basic backend functionality, such editing hot spots, renaming scene names, etc.

Graphical User Config / CMS
Hi, Any idea as to whether it's possible to link a graphical user interface or CMS to configure virtual tours created with Pano2VR? Recently, I got several clients asking for a way to maintain virtual tours themselves, for example, deleting/adding/renaming hot spots or moving them around. Is there a...

Re: Convert Pano2vr Project to Native Android App (no size restriction)
I managed to convert one of my virtual tours to an APK and it works perfectly fine. The only issue I have is that the tour starts in full screen mode and since my Android phone doesn't have a home button there is no way to close the tour once it's started. Still figuring out a way to deal with this...

Re: Oculus Go or Quest for Virtual Tours
Good idea! For an example of what using Oculus VR hardware bound to a Facebook account means, see attached image below. Pico is only focussed on selling hardware, and not on harvesting and selling user/business data. They also allow much more control of the VR hardware: you can have a real kiosk mo...

Oculus Go or Quest for Virtual Tours
Hi, Which headset do you guys recommend for our Pano2VR virtual tours: Oculus Go or Quest (2)? The Quest has a higher resolution but its controllers and 6DoF seem overkill for virtual tours. Also, I heard that the Go provides a better experience when it comes to viewing 360 videos. Any suggestions? ...

Re: WebVR: very blurry panos
In version 6.1.9 the issue is still there.
Any idea if there is a workaround?
