Preventing inadvertant manipulation of tour in iFrame

Hi When a virtual tour is placed in a website using an iframe, if the user is scrolling down the page they can unintentionally click on an area of the tour, interrupting their progress down the page and at the same time moving the opening image to a random view. It's disorientating for the user, and...

Re: Golfcourse Overview

Hi
That is super cool. Very refined to use and pixel-perfect.
Can I ask - how do you make the horiziontal-only scrolling panels work like that? I'm guessing they aren't equirectangluar. The way that it's not possible to pan up/down and the fluid movement left/right is really impressive.

Re: Fisheye lens - better than non-fisheye of same focal length?

I process 'DRI' at the moment (not HDR, letting software do it yields less good results). The M6 is limited in its bracketing abilities and there's no Magic Lantern for it. Overall the 5D3 yields better looking images, and has more bracketing control, but I'm aware that 4 shots plus zenith and nadir...

Re: Fisheye lens - better than non-fisheye of same focal length?

Thanks for the rreply. Yes, full sphere. Shooting more quickly whilst at the same time achieving high quality is worthwhile for me. I've been using an EOS M6 with Samyang 8mm on a small and quite old Nodal Ninja, and am looking to improve the overall quality, which is already reasonably good. I'm sl...

Fisheye lens - better than non-fisheye of same focal length?

I use a Sigma 12-20 on the Canon 5D3 body, and it works ok. The seemingly recommended Samyang 12mm seems an expensive gamble if it's effectively not much better. Does anyone know if it is, and if so why.

Re: Unknown Place

Hi Hopki You said: In the project file do you have a place set? Where, in the project file is that? There's 'user data' for each pano in the project which includes title, description, lat and lon, and I also add other metadata to each image in Lightroom. However, my 360s on Streetview always have th...
