Navigation between multiple Pano variations using Buttons
So the setup in our Pano2VR project is that we have multiple viewpoints. Each viewpoint has 3 variations showing; (Base photography, One with rendered building in it, one just an outline of buildings) The skin allows very neat navigation as we have 3 buttons to allow you to select whichever variatio...

How do you add a custom marker on Google Maps
Project - http://vr.rockhunter.co.uk/1776_Cuba_Street_AVR/ Currently a custom marker is used on the google map element to show where node points are. I would like to have one additional marker to show where the development site is located. This is not a node it's just a visual reference point on the...

Mobile Adaptive
Hi, I'm looking for a way to adapt the display depending on whether the agent is a desktop of mobile. Navigation maps (both images based and OSM) have fixed pixel dimensions, so on smaller displays like mobile devices the maps can be wider than the display. I can think of two approaches for the prob...

Re: Issue to display hotspot images in Chrome
I can't see it in Chrome on Windows, but I see all hotspot icons in Chrome in all of my my own projects. What skin are you using? Are you using custom icons? If so, which file format are you using? Have you accidentally moved them below the canvas in the skin? Top bottom order in the skin matters! H...

Re: Output file size
In many programs you have the workflow "Maximum input" -> "set desired output". It's for example how audio, video and image workflow operate. In Pano2VR your input size = output size. So if you put 25000px panos in, you get 25000px panos in the output, broken into (horizontally 4...

Re: Google Street View - Panos Disapprearing.
Well, the next day the panos appeared again, so this seems to be a glitch with google.
However I can't find a way seeing the tour? There's no way of going from one pano to the next - they are just "one among many" on GSV.
Any ideas?
regards,
Wolfgang

Google Street View - Panos Disapprearing.
I've tried my first upload of a tour to google street view. I've been following this guide: https://ggnome.com/doc/gsv-basic-workflow/ It's a simple 2 node tour with 9000x4500px sized images. Set the user data, placed and linked the nodes on the map. The source panos are already level blurred all fa...

Re: WARNING about Google Maps
Can I ask how you add a OSM Map to the tour? The Skin editor currently only has Google Maps built in, so I'm wondering if you could share how you do that?
kind regards,
Wolfgang

Re: Create a compass similar to Google Street View?
I'n no expert in how to do that, but a starting point would be to look at https://ggnome.com/doc/placeholders-list/ You can see that $(an) is the "current pan angle with north setting applied". From here, I'd look in the Skin editor at the feature "Node 3D Hotspot" to see how obj...

Isaac, Wow. Just wow. That' awesome! I'm reading through it, and slowly wrapping my head around how it works, but that's such an awesome response. Thank you very much! I'm still taking in how much effort you put into answering me, that really great! I'll be giving it go a now and I'm pretty sure wit...

Multiple Scene transitions
We make before and after panos, where we montage renderings of buildings in photographs. To switch between the photo and the montage we're using scene transitions (https://ggnome.com/wiki/scene-transitions/) and that works great. But now I want to expand this, and have multiple options. Photo, Optio...

Website Hosting optimisation
I was wondering if there was a guide available to help with website optimization. I'm really new to Object2VR, and the few tests I've run with renders I've obviously gotten straight into some steep learning. The first question is about angles - what intervals do yo use for declination and altitude? ...

Re: Hosting - Client area
Yes, that's one option - however it's getting really heavy - we have large tours with high res images, so there are tours that are 250mb large - copying them several times over seems like unnecessary space. I might go the wordpress route with a user access manager plugin (or similar) and then load t...

Hosting - Client area
Hello, I'm looking for a solution how to have tours hosted online, so I can sent a link out to clients. The nature of our work means we have to do this confidentially, so if client A logs in, they can only see Tour 1,3 & 5 and if client B logs in they can only see 2, 4 &5. There are plenty o...
