User entered text box to open next panorama?
Hello, Does anyone have any experience or tips on how to create a mechanism where users enter text to open the next node? The idea would be for users to find a clue and when they enter the correct word that triggers a variable to open the next node. Has anyone seen/built anything like this? I'm gues...

Re: Editing panos before import to Pano2VR
Update: Affinity seems like a winner. Real easy workflow, actually a bit more straightforward than PS. As a PS expert, it's real easy to pick up as well and figure out all the tools.

Re: Editing panos before import to Pano2VR
Thanks, David! Yeah, I've been finding lots of stuff suggesting Affinity photo and watched a quick video yesterday where they edited the nadir in Affinity. Looks like it is pretty straightforward, I might give the trial version a try first.

Editing panos before import to Pano2VR
Hello, Im looking for tips/suggestions for workflows on how to add dotted line to a spherical panorama before I add it to a project. I have used Photoshop for this, but Photoshop is discontinuing support for 3D editing and Im stuck for an alternative. Basically, I have some drone footage, and I want...

Re: Virtual meeting entertainment
I just had a real quick look around, but even from that I can say it's a really great job! Lots of info, really fun to explore, well done!

Re: Turn info labels on and off from toolbar button?
I've done a real simple version of this using the method I described above-
I basically created a new button in the toolbar (controller) with an action to toggle visibility of an info hotspot with a unique skin ID (ht_label)
Maybe I was just overthinking this...

Turn info labels on and off from toolbar button?
Kia ora! Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere or if it seems like a basic question, but I have searched and searched documentation and forum with no luck. I am working in Pano2VR with a very large flat panorama. It is a view of a city from an elevated position. What I'd like to do is tag lo...

Re: Pinned Image Hotspot Glitch
Thanks, Hopki. Really appreciate the explanation. So the way I understand it, even though the full size of the project folder might be significantly larger, that doesn't mean each visitor will necessarily be served all of that data? I'm just aware that we are charged by data usage for our websites, ...

Re: Pinned Image Hotspot Glitch
Hey thanks both of you for the feedback and looking into this! I wonder if you have a minute, could you help me understand a few things? Hopki- 1) you point at that several icon files are missing. When I output the project, I went through and deleted some of the media files that I ended up not using...

Re: Pinned Image Hotspot Glitch
Actually, if it helps in the meantime, the full tour has been published on our website:
https://pukeariki.com/museum/exhibition ... tual-tour/
One separate issue, but maybe worth mentioning here: the tour does not seem to work in Internet Explorer

Re: Pinned Image Hotspot Glitch
Thanks, Hopki. Will do.
The issue is intermittent, but several people ran into in testing and I've experienced it myself. I can't find any pattern or reason for it, but it seems to be related to the gyro.
I'll send through a project and see what you get

Re: Pinned Image Hotspot Glitch
Ok, I'm actually dealing with a different glitch. In my case, pinned images become 'unpinned', but it only occurs when gyro is turned on. I'll explain: Ive created a virtual tour of a museum exhibition. Text panels on the wall of the gallery are embedded as pinned images. Touching these panels makes...

Re: Pinned Image Hotspot Glitch
Can someone please explain the "Pinned Image Hotspot "take over the entire scene" when panning left or right issue"? I think I might be dealing with that, and I can not find any info on this on the forum. Any help would be appreciated!

Panorama to MP4 static video?
Kia ora!
Does anyone know if there is a straightforward way to create a static MP4 of a 360 pano tour for inclusion in a showreel type video? No interactivityu, just a 'recording' of a panorama with maybe some movement, looking around etc
cheers,
Nick
