Re: New User Question
With 28mm lens, to get full 360x180 sphere, you will need around 30 shots and multiple rows. Of course you would be able to do it, but it's not practical. Interior shots where environment does not change - ok, but Imagine a busy place, by the time you finish shooting the lower row, the environment c...

Re: What is most wanted?
Don't get me wrong, I own an iPhone and I will use the latest release of Pano2VR to create tours for it. I'm not totally anti iDud products, but these are NOT mainstream and not what many would prioritise in their wants from Pano2VR as "tour" software. People are so disappointed in the la...

Re: What is most wanted?
Why the latest version 3.0 isn't based on Flash 10, but still 9? There is no difference between 9 and 10, beside time-line animation, which is not part of Pano2Vr files but Adobe Flash alone. The ActionScript didn't change so the file version would be nothing but a number, which would make no diffe...

Re: New User Question
I think you starting it all backwards. First you need lens that will allow you to photograph 360x180. If you don't have 8mm or 10mm lens, you will need to use normal, which means multiple raws of photos. 24 to 48 photos - depends on lens o_0 For that of course you need panoram head without which, it...

Re: audio narration
Did some one say smarter!!!!!! I built this for one of my customers. Check this out, http://www.hopkimedia.co.uk/portfolio/lyneal The best way is to add the sound in the sound editor in each individual panorama. Set the loop for 1, every time you leave and entre the sound plays. The speaker button ...

Re: Small Size / Full Screen --> Diff File sizes?
You could actually add this action to your FullScreen Toggle button. With Full Screen click - Open Next Panorama. To make it more realistic, you could try to add the $cur parameter in the Pan/Tilt/Fov box, along with the "next panorama" action. This action takes current file position and p...

Re: Pano2vr + Opera, bug?
Sorry, no Opera to check it, and I would rather not download it only for that reason. But if the problem is very browser specific, especially on one OS, then it's more than certain it's the browser problem. FF for example has problems with SWF being in iFrame (mac only). Slower and jagged, but as so...

Re: Ends of cylindrical panorama not lining up properly
It could be that the stitched images wasn't stitched properly and in fact, it is not precise 360 coverage.
Can you upload the photo for us to check ? Otherwise it will be time wasting guessing game.

Could be the photos problem. Could you upload the photo and provide link so we can try to determine first, whether it's general problem, or your end only.

Re: One single user license for Mac and PC???
Well, normally the license apply to single user/computer, for most of the software out there, so I think Thomas's approach is quite fair, it's just cool return the courtesy and respect that policy. Regarding the name, it's not actual computer's user name, just a "user" to remain the same, ...

Re: One single user license for Mac and PC???
I did ask the same thing Thomas couple of months ago, as I run my Pano2VR on PC at home and Macbook pro on the go when working outstation.
It's no problem to use same license on two machines AS LONG as it is the same user.

Re: Fullscreen without close bar at the bottom.
You are correct, once Geoff Stearns was writing the embed tag work around, he also included the dynamic variable and very elaborate detection method for all the main, cross OS web browsers. Even tho IE 8 has no longer the problem, I tend to use the swfobject (and probably will for another year or so...

Re: Fullscreen without close bar at the bottom.
Thomas method is pretty much the same, with some minor custom changes to the original SWFobject. I'm not sure whether you know why we end up using it? In short, the Eolas has a patent on how a browser downloads multimedia content embedded within an HTML page. It has won a judgment of over a half bil...

Re: Pano works fine in Safari but very choppy in IE... help
The way your guy embeds the files remain pretty much the same except minor change in the window mode. Seem to be much more smooth now. Tried in IE and Firefox. Tho, I would really suggest you make the buttons 1,2,3,4 and 5 within your Panorama using the skin editor, and load the panoramas rather tha...
