I tested with a Google Pixel 6 and a Samsung S8 on tony's page.
(with chrome and fiber)
The problem is present with both phones.

1) in the edit interface add your image (compass)
2) in the properties of your image.... go to "modifier"
3) cible=rotation ..... and ...... source=pan
4) fixe the north in obj2vr parameters app
