Re: Auto click/play through tour

Many thanks for this Thomas. I'll have a play around with the set up. If I understand you correctly, your instructions allow for a button to go to the next linked pano like the 3D arrows do. Is this correct please? Sorry if i'm misunderstanding but I'd like a toggle button that will automatically cl...

Auto click/play through tour

Hi All, My client has asked if it is possible to add a button to enable automatic clicking of the 3D arrows. Something like a play/pause button? I'm not looking to output a flat animation video. Unfortunately my node numbers are not in a sequential order that aligns with GPS positions on a 1000+ nod...

Re: 1000+ node tour - hints and tips

Hi Hopki, In comparison to say a 10 node tour, clicking on the arrows to go to the next pano works as would be expected initiating the transition immediately. However, with this 1000+ node tour it can take a second or two and even then a further second or two for the image to become nice and clear. ...

Re: Split screen

Hi Hopki, can the margins be changed dynamically? Currently only with javascript, but I will look into this. The javascript call in a goto action would be for example: javascript:player.setMargins(10,20,30,40); with the order left, top, right, bottom. Good question Tony, and thanks for the reply Th...

1000+ node tour - hints and tips

Hi, I'm using version 6 to output an HTML 1000+ node project that will be uploaded to AWS to serve to our client but also distributed on a USB memory stick for local loading. Chrome seems to fall over when using the localhost address and the integrated web server. When loading local on a machine (wi...

Re: Split screen

Hi Tony, Thank you for your reply. If I understand you correctly, I think you are suggesting the 3D arrows are in a container where the size of the container changes dependant on whether the map element is visible or not? This could work I guess with some tweaking of the default pano view angle etc....

Split screen

Hi, how can I create a split screen effect so that I have a map occupying say the bottom 25% of the screen and the pano occupying the upper 75% of the screen? I currently use a skin which has a toggle button to display a map, but this opens over the 3D arrows. Is it also possible to toggle the split...

Elevation profiles

Hi, Is it possible to include elevation profiles in tours? Perhaps with the new Mapbox feature? Can elevation profiles be generated based on node locations using for example https://www.mapbox.com/help/access-elevation-data/ or https://www.mapbox.com/api-documentation/pages/surface.html ? Is it poss...
