Every time I click the gear button to "Generate Output", I get the message: "This will recreate and overwrite the file `pano.xml`! Do you want to continue?" I found this incredibly irritating and time wasting. Is there a way to disable this warning? Does it bug other people or am...

Which is the way it should be. I have worked for and continue to see too many companies releasing software when management or marketing says it should.
Release it when it is ready is the way to go.
