Integrated Web Server takes 2:20 to start
I have a new problem with Pano2VR. I upgraded to version 6.1.10 and discovered a problem when I try to generate an output. I'm on Windows 10, so when I generate an output, it generates nodes etc, but then the screen goes opaque, and I get the swirling icon and nothing happens. If I wait for nearly 2...

Re: Lighten a virtual visit
Reducing the dimensions of your source image will do it too. I use 8000 X 4000 for standard images. For high detail that I want to allow the user to zoom way in on, I'll use 12000 X 6000. Of course, the smaller files reduce detail, but if you're not going for a gigapixel super zoom high detail pano,...

Re: Help needed - Use time for day/night transition
On a windows server, I know you can use scripting to get the time from the server, then access the browser location, calculate the users time and switch which pano loads? Would require some backend scripting, that would be the first way I attempt to tackle it. I'm sure the same thing could be done w...

Re: How to reference a child cloners parent tag
One workaround I came up with is to use the "Comment" field for each node and enter the name of the filter tag. Then use a Mouse Click "Set Value" action to pass the $(uo) parameter to the google map.
It works, but I feel like there's an easier way to skin this cat.

How to reference a child cloners parent tag
How can I reference the parent filter tag from a child cloner element? I've tried $(_self), $(_parent), _self, etc and every variation I can think of. Here's why I ask. I have a Menu with a cloner, using a table with 5 filter tags. Works great. I have a Google Map and I want to pass it the value of ...

Re: Loading a Tour in WP from a seperate domain
I've tried searching for an answer and haven't found it yet. I have a tour hosted on my webserver at: https://www.hawkeyemedia.com/panos/splash_kingdom/ Unrelated to your original question, but: cool tour, and I learned a lot about how/when to use certain features. :D Nice nadir removal and full sk...

Re: Loading a Tour in WP from a seperate domain
That's odd. When I load the tour in Chrome, it seems to load normally. Last month I upgraded my server with GoDaddy to a faster server because I reached my limit on the number of files I could have. My website runs much faster now and I haven't seen any issues, but I'm not checking it continuously e...

Re: Loading a Tour in WP from a seperate domain
YES! I continued digging and thanks so some previous posts by Dave, it put me onto the CORS problem.
I added "Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin https://www.splashkingdomwaterpark.com " to my .htaccess file on the server, problem solved!

Re: Loading a Tour in WP from a seperate domain
I think it might be a CORS issue. Looks like I'm going to learn something new.

Re: Updated to 6.1.5. - 2 error messages creating output
I updated to version 6.1.5 this week and I'm getting the same error messages when I create an HTML output for a project that I had previously created an output for BEFORE I updated to 6.1.5. I was using version 6.1.3 before I did the update. I quickly realized if I deleted the two files in the exist...

How to pass a parameter to a NodeImage
Here's what I'd like to do, use a cloner to create a vertical list of nodes for a particular tag (easy enough) but use one NodeImage to display the image for each node the cloner builds. The reason for this is I'm trying to have the NodeImage in the same X & Y coordinate on the canvas for each n...

Re: Images and Text Addition
Hi Hopki, I'm trying to do this with a mouse-over on a node image inside of a cloned group but the action isn't passing the value. What I want to do is pass the user title from the node image to a text field which is outside of the thumbnail menu to act as a roll-over tool-tip. I can pass values to ...

Re: Hurricane Ike Damage Then & Now
Thanks for the feedback! I've struggled with how to display these panos for a while. I found the Tallinn University tour by lveerde and liked the way his drop down menus worked. It took quite a bit of work to build a menu like his which worked on both desktops and tablets. I agree that it might be b...
