Hotspot actions not working in mobile browsers

Hello, I'm currently working on a mobile version of a tour. Here's the url: http://visual360.co.uk/tayrona/mobile/ I want to include a map to show the location of each 360 in the wider context of the National Park. I've linked the hotspots on each pano to the skin using the ID field. The position of...

App for IOS devices using phonegap

Hello everyone, Does anyone have any experience using Phone Gap to make package a virtual tour up in an app? I've done this for Android by just uploading the same files as used on the online version. It seems to be working fine and just wondering if the process is as simple for IOS before spending t...

Re: aspect ratio on flat panoramas

Hi Hopki, Ok. Thanks for letting me know and for putting it on the list of things to do. Just to make sure we're on the same page, what I'm after is full image-width across 100% of the screen and for the height to be letter-boxed so that the aspect-ratio of the image is maintained. Best wishes, Nick

Re: aspect ratio on flat panoramas

Hi Hopki, Still no joy, I'm afraid. You don't seem to be able to set the FOV to more then 100 degrees with flat panoramas. I've tried overriding this manually in the .xml but as far as I can see, it doesn't make any difference. The amended work in progress is still here: http://southamericanlandscap...

Re: aspect ratio on flat panoramas

Hi Hopki, Thanks for getting back to me. I have followed your suggestion and uploaded the page here: http://southamericanlandscapes.com/test2/ This displays the correct aspect ratio. However, when you go full-screen, the original problem of the aspect ratio being determined by that of the screen per...

aspect ratio on flat panoramas

Hello, I'm trying to recreate the following page layout using pano2vr as I'm not happy with the way zoomify works on mobile devices: http://www.southamericanlandscapes.com/caleta-pan-de-az%C3%BAcar.html However, when I export using Pano2vr, the aspect ratio is determined by that of the screen. Is it...

Re: jerky scrolling on macbooks

Hi Hopki,

Sorry for not replying. I have only just seen your post. I tested my page on a difference Macbook Pro in a different shop. It worked fine. I think you were right about the tiles loading.

Cheers,

Nick

Scaling in iFrame on phone version of site

Hello, I'm working on a phone version of my site - http://www.visual360.co.uk/new/phone/index.html I'm using Adobe Muse to build it. The 360 is displayed in an iFrame embedded using the following code: <iframe src="http://visual360.co.uk/new/360s/berghaus/home.html" name="iframe_windo...

Re: jerky scrolling on macbooks

Hi Hopki,

Interesting. I viewed on both a Macbook and Mac Pro in the same shop. There was a big difference in experience on the two machines. Hopefully, it was circumstantial. Can anyone else confirm this?

Cheers,

Nick

jerky scrolling on macbooks

Hello, I viewed my site in Safari on a Macbook Pro in the Apple Store today. It looks fine on my own Mac Pro, PCs, ipad, android phone, but the scrolling was very jerky on all the MacBooks. I checked a range of specs and it was very poor on all of them. Has anyone else experienced this sort of thing...

Re: lower quality on iPads than KRPano - what am I doing wro

Hi Sebastian, Thanks for getting back to me. I had a look at your shot. Lovely location! To my eye, the desktop Flash version is still clearer than than the html5 on my iPad4. I notice that you have the custom pointer selected. I find that if I disable this, I get smoother panning. I have since down...

Thanks, Jare.

The problem I get us that if I increase the tile size anymore, the rotation becomes laggy. Has anyone else experienced this?

lower quality on iPads than KRPano - what am I doing wrong?

Hello, I've been using pano2vr for a while now and have been very happy with the results. That said, I've always thought the resolution on iPads was a little low. At first I thought this was a hardware issue, but when comparing my 360s with those produced with (sorry) krpano, I see quite a big diffe...
